Yes the title is a bit long, please excuse that

I remember a while ago talking with some people about how cool it'd be to have some sort of programming on Pre-reg Friday, to get into the KCon groove before it actually starts. I was thinking that it'd be really fun to have a cosplay pajama kind of event going on, with people wearing a special pajama-fied version of the character their cosplaying as.

I was wondering if something like this would be possible. I'll be joining staff, and I'll be at the con fairly early on Friday so I'm more than willing to help set things up, and get stuff done.

Any opinions? :3

Last year we were going to have cosplay pajama fun at the Shounen-ai/Shoujo-ai panel but it never really worked out. I think doing it on Pre-reg Friday, when nothing else happens would be good. And even if we can't turn this into a panel people could still show up in cosplay pajamas

kind of sounds like the anime slumber party that's been talked about. ooooh pre-reg Friday event, that would be alot of phone though. I'm game I guess. then I can wear my special pajamas twice for con. :3

okay so I just figured out if I do go to this who I'm dressing up as. just found the cutest slippers that totally match one of my cosplays so I'm making pajama's for that. :3

If I go to this I also have an idea of who I would dress up as. That is if I get that costume done.....which other then the dress it isn't a lot of work. I would just need a wig, shoes....and something else >_>

Aaah, I'm debating who I should be in my head. xD I'm thinking about Haruko or Tamao.

. . Plus, it would give me an excuse to do SOMETHING with my Haruko cosplay.

Funny... just today I happened to be talking to Leashy, and I decided to get in on an online order she was doing to buy some slippers. I got some brown boot slippers (kinda like Uggs).

They look a bit like Link boots, so I was joking about getting a green, bag-like fleece robe with a brown sash and a long green nightcap. PJ Link.

It'd look suitably ridiculous.

If I ever end up doing something that silly, I'll report here.

I will say. That picking up your badge the day before is so much nicer than waiting in line x.x

It still took a little bit of time but at least I wasn't missing anything......I still had to get up early drive a friend to register x.x I went to bed about midnight and got up at three to get ready.

(bringing this whole rant to the point) That's why I want to get a hotel room, and having a hotel room at the Hilton will make it much easier to go to this

: D I'll get a lil sleeping cap for my shadow cosplay so I can still wear it around...

my shadow is only going to be worn on the first day and friday after i get through with the line so me and my friend whos going to be my nobody can go through the line and help entertain people like some did last year.

Ive become clueless about what cosplay I'll use pajamas for now ;_; To many to choose from. I dun really wanna wear a wig cuz it would probly fall off after a while.

I love this idea! me and my friend are gonna be deidara and itachi all day Friday, so it's be fun to do something like this!

I'd love to see those 2 characters in pajamas XD
and we both have plushies, so we'd bring those along.

yeah they haven't made plushies of my characters yet...I still want a sasori plushie though. I'll definitely get it after Christmas. but yeah, a plushie party for the pj event. that'd be pretty cool.

ya know i think this year we can make friday really great between this, the ryodans pre show, and hopefully other people will step up to the bat with fun stuff like this to help make friday more a real day of the con and not just pre reg!

It kinda works out, since most of us are there Friday night anyways.

well, both of those charcters' regualr outfits are somewhat kimono-styled, so maybe some sort of grey kimono looking robe? with long pajama bottoms?

I was also thinking like the kinda purple/blue color of his robe in a matching bottom and button up top and then add little things regarding the sound 5 like the peace sign, snakes, and the curse mark. Or maybe I'll just add a big peace sign (like the one on the front of his robe) to the back of the top.
