I didn't mean for it to be expensive..cause jeebus knows that I'm dirt poor myself. XD;
I was just trying to brainstorm places that are indoors for wintertime.

yeah I understand completely and I like the idea of themed stuff. A lot of the themed stuff if just thing you could find in your closet or in friends closets. Like a school girl version of a cosplay you have. You would need a white blouse and a skirt. Thats it.

yea monthly meet ups would be really cool it would make it so every one can learn about others more easily that way so 1st bad impressions can be made up for ^_^

I must ask- would the locations of these things vary? Cause although Portland is very nice and all but I happen to live about...*thinks* an hour and ten minutes away from it.

I know this is all planning just asking to see if locations would change each month or something.

trust me I know how it feels to live an hour away ^_^ its sucks so we moved to gladstone in hopes it makes it easyer to meet up with ppl

I think we will keep in around Portland because that is where most people live. We may switch to clackamas a few time.

cool clackamas would be cool to and it would be closer

but what is out in clackamas that would be fun to hang besides the town center??

well, what people up north were doing was moving it around to different areas surrounding seattle so that everyone had to work their fair share to get there. XD;

so we could probably movie it around and such...
we just can't put it too out of the way, because the majority of people live in portland, so that's what I'm going off.

plus we'd have to get someone who knows the surroundings of clackamas or wherever, because I only know the tigard/beaverton/portland area. x.x;;

that would work I allways wanted to get to know these areas better I hardly know anything besides clackamas town center

YOU MEAN WE COULD HAVE A MEET UP CLOSER TO ME? That would be like... a dream if we had it in Tigard or Tualatin or something. I have a for sure feeling Kona and I make the most effort to get our happy asses out to Portland. It's almost 30 miles from us.

There's the Tualatin Commons. That's a nice place with lots of ducks, usually. Good thai food there, too. Then there's Tualatin park. Tigard has the mall. Jergens park is very nice, too. It's smaller than Tualatin Park, but it's got an awesome playground and a great dock on the river. Nice little wetland, too.

I was thinking maybe we should set up a run to Uwajimayas for those who don't normally get to go. Then they could see that there's more to Japanese food than ramune, ramen, and pocky

Tualatin has a new Trimet train coming in that should plunk us down somewhere in Beaverton when it's ready.

And there is a nice little park that in conveniently right behind my house

But I like the idea of going to parks but since it is getting cold out we should go to a park that is by a big indoor place so we could go to get out pictures then go inside where it is warm XD

Well, Bridgeport has some really pretty areas. We can stay outside, too, since they have stand up heaters and such to warm the shoppers. We can all hang out under the giant... veranda... thing... what're they called. What are those octagonal little covered decks people have in their yards sometimes? What are those called?

That would work. Tualatin park isn't too far away. If we had people to carpool others over to Bridgeport and back, it shouldn't take more than seven minutes for a round-trip. That way, if someone wanted an autumn photoshoot they could get it and then we could all still stay warm and outside.

That's probably more elaborate than we should get, though. Who knows. It's an idea at the very least.

Ooh! It's further away, but there's a whole bunch of beautiful areas on the way to the Japanese Gardens that are filled with beautiful trees. They're probably changing colors right now, too. All the trees near the Tualatin Library are bright red. It's gorgeous.

I've never had a photoshoot myself. Always wanted one, though XD Davy would need a beach, though.

They're called Gazebos XD and an autumn photoshoot sound like a lot of fun! We'd probably have to do it soon though before it gets too cold

I love photography, and my mom(sad I know, but I can't afford a fancy digital camera) has a nice camera that I'm sure she'd let me use. :3

I have halloween off school/work, and I was thinking it'd be far enough into fall where it'd still be sunny and the leaves would have changed quite a lot by then. :3
I live by summer lake, and cook park is really close too!
so if you guys would like to meet up and take pictures and such, that'd be super fun!
