After seeing the trailer, all of my nostalgia from watching the show, when it was originally on Toonami, is gone in it. Now, the missing that special oomph, when I see the live action version.

Dude, I can't believe Keanu Reeves is going to be Goku. Who here can honestly NOT think that the director picked him JUST because of Neo? And what's it going to sound like when Keanu has to do the Power-Shouting Like Goku does?

I'll watch this... but like I said in the other DBZ threads this movie kind of makes me lose all faith in humanity.

I like that Stephen Chow is the director, I love his work, but the movie does't have the dragon ball feel to it.  This movie, based off of the trailer, reminds me a lot of the Hitman movie, take out a few things and you would have no Idea this was based off of anything.  Also, why does piccolo look like a vampire?

@the_panda: that's not Keanu Reeves, it's some small time guy. The only movie I remember seeing him in was The Invisible.  Besides, Keanu Reeves would seriously have made a ridiculous Goku.

I can't really answer this because I don't really know if this movie is going down under or be a smash hit ign.com has already given dragonball number one movie to watch so...I don't really know since what happened to Speed Racer.

I found a picture of Goku from the movie somewhere on the internet. I thought it was a great cosplay, and then I realized that it was from the movie. Or a very, very convincing photoshop of Justin with foam hair and a prosthetic forehead.

This movie looks deliciously awful. I can't wait. :D I'm a Dragon Ball Z fan, too.
