I just got kinds that you see with and are fun colors :3 I have been wanting them for a long time but they are not cheap....though cheaper then you would get online. It was $30 for 6 where online you tend to pay $30 per contact x.x

2) Finish Rikku Top {Need Buckles}
3) Finish Rikku Skirt {Need Grommets}
4) Finish Rikku's sleeves {One left! Just need to sew on the bows}
5) Rikku's Scarf ~~{Mother is making...}~~ [Got ruined...Have to make out of cloth now...] [Doing after Headband!]
6) Rikku's shoes {Wal*Mart + paint...} [Drying]
7) Rikku wig... {Dreadding}
~~8 ) Luka's Sailor Scarf {Need to sew and get one more piece of fabric}~~
9) Riza's Skirt {Easy...just need to find fabric}
10) Riza's Wig {Easy!}
11) Meiko's outfit {If time...}
12) {D8 Forgot this...} Rikku Headband [Doing now!]

tofutakeout :: XD I don't mind. It's nothing real official for her outfit. I wanted to do her but didn't have time to get fabric to make the dress so it is out of my closet but looks fairly close... I did make her arm things though...I did a while ago.

Where did this take place? Cuz I could use some incredibly blue contacts for my costume, which I hadn't originally planned to get, but for that price, I may look into it.

Oh well.. there's always next year.

That's the main reason I didn't get them done this year.. I don't have an eye doctor, and if I do, my mom would know about it.. and I forgot to ask her early enough. So I don't have my eyes measured.. nor the money to get them measured, nor the money to get an appointment..

Blah!

Oh well, my hair is still awesome. I'm still excited as hell. xD

well insurance pays for the appointment, and even $100 worth of contacts, but my mom made me pay for my colored ones because I need enough regular ones to last me two years and i couldn't do that if I got a box of color with that 100.

Ah.. see, that's the issue to begin with.. my eyes aren't too bad, so I don't really need to see an eye doctor.. and I don't really have insurance at the moment either.

Soooo, I'm a little sad. For one of my cosplays I wanted blonde eyebrows so I was all "yay, there's a method just for that" (the elmer's glue + paint) and I've seen it in person and on photo and it usually looks really good, right? Weeeell... apparently my eyebrows disagree. v_v Like, I'll get them glued down, then I'll paint them but somehow the hairs decide to go BOING and it's like no matter how much paint or glue I use you can still see the brown through the paint. What's funny is the inner half of my brow is like "I'm brown!!" and then the outer half goes "I'll be blonde" so it looks SOOO weird. Haha.

Technically I cooooould get them thinned which would keep them from fighting the glue and paint so much... but something tells me that'd only help people mistake me for a girl. -.-; Although I did pluck them a bit... but I was gonna do that anyway. *points to icon which is pre-plucking* LOOK AT THOSE MONSTERS. I made 1 eyebrow into 2! ^w^

Everything's done! Oh my god, I can't believe it. I'm even completely packed. This really is a wonderful feeling. Now I can help finish the Amy jacket completely when I get to my friends house and not have to worry about my own stuff. Phew~

Pretty sure I'm going to do my crossplay Chi again. Except this time, I have some damn cute black stockings to go with it. And some black flats. And uh, I even went and had my eyebrows waxed. Now all that's left is to shave my entire body. Yeah. That's fun. $:-\$
