WOO! I'll just steer clear of small hallways and low ceilings then.

I know there were some interesting mini awards last year, but is there one going to be called "The Con's Largest Prop Award?" If I came next year, my biggest prop would just be my 6 ft tall Tetsusaiga when I come as Inuyasha And in a certain LARP game (Amtgard), it will actually be usable! With that in mind, I brought a toy sword last year at K-con and got it peace-bonded, then there were padded swords that were sold by a vendor at the dealer's room who always sells their stuff at the Portland Saturday Market, and their stuff wasn't bonded. If I designed my Tetsusaiga so that it can be safe to play with as those swords, would it still need bonding?

@turbo
ah yes my dear friend JB and his boffers. :3 yeah they don't need to be peace bonded since their 'soft' swords. they should have an award like that. well if it's made all nice and soft like the boffers then I dunno. they might say it needs to be peace bonded because of it's size if anything.

Good, my Tetsusaiga is safe for smiting the wicked and the playful, but I must be careful. Though these are soft-as-pillow swords, they have enough mass to break plastic ones.

@roxas
well I'm not sure how to get it barrel shaped like that but you could try messaging one of the many lavi's out there that made his hammer. I know cosplay.com has some good ones.:]

well its not like you would be holding it and able to hit someone with it, so no. its part of the cosplay itself.

@roxas
welcome.

well you could try insulation foam, it's pretty popluar for scythes [it's what I'm using for mine]
the only problem is it would be pretty fragile, so no sword fights!!
