I'm going to kumoricon this year as haruhi fujioka and I was wondering who else was going to be there from this anime/manga

me and my friends are going as a group...I'll be going as Hunny(yay lot's of hunny-sempais). We also have Hikaru, Kaoru, Tamaki, Kasanoda, Mori(possibly), and Kyouya(possibly)

I really like your Hunny. It's very good. For sakuracon 09 I am going to try to go at Hikaru and my friend is going to try to be Kaoru but we are having issues with patches.

um i got it off of cosplaymagic i believe and then i got another one at anime expo that looks the exact same as the one i have since it was the announcement of the english host club, which is going to be epic.

Since there'll likely be a few people cosplaying as Renge, we should talk to the hotel staff about installing mechanical lifts throughout the building if Kumoricon will be held at the Doubletree in the future. That way, people cosplaying as Renge will have a much easier time being in-character. I was at Fanime this year and there were several Renge cosplayers who couldn't be as in-character as they wanted to be because of the building having no mechanical lifts.
What do you guys think of the idea?

wow. that would be pretty sweet, but I think that's pushing it. it would me majorly expensive, a little dangerous, and not completely necessary.
considering it IS a hotel. and I'm not sure if they want mechanical lifts everywhere.

it would be pretty cool though, if they had one on the stage so people could use them for skits [not just renge]

lol You are so right. It really would be quite unnecessary to do. I wasn't being serious about the idea. I just thought the thought of a convention center with mechanical lifts to favor Renge cosplayers would be amusing.

I am going as Hikaru on the date episode but I really need a Kaoru or Haruhi from that episode. I am going to try to find a jacked but I would still need a twin. I have a Kaoru for Sakuracon but i don't think hers will be read in time for Kumori con, even if it was I can't get a hold of her x.x

For everyone looking for patches: I made a Haruhi jacket for my friend a few years ago, and I got the patch from a friend on devianatart (she has an ebay page too, I think). I need to get it from him and sew it on my jacket.

I was going to go as Chika-kun (Haninozuka Chikamura, Hunny-sempai's little brother) again, but as I lost my glasses (which were too perfect) last year, I suppose I'll just be a random middle school kid. Perhaps there's a middle school version of the host club?
