Okay, I am in charge of designing a new product to Kumoricon: Hoodies!

This will something that is not year specific or dependent on what type of mascot we have at any given time. Here is what will be on the hoody: the Kumoricon logo, the chop and of course, Kumoricon. Though this maybe subject change as I finalize the design and layout.

Next question: Zip up or pull over?

pull over.. i love the pocket space so much more that way...

Btw.... black because white gets dirty way too fast and i wear alot of black anyway it will fit right into my clothing sets XD

I vote for zip-up. =) Also, I like black for the color but I really, really love the color green (and there just isn't enough green hoodies in the world, haha). So I'd also like to vote for a green hoody... ooooh, or black hoody with green text! That'd be very, very awesome. =D

I'm so excited. I usually don't buy con shirts but I'm a total hoody fiend so I must buy one!!! >D

I like the Black and Blue Zip-up theme since this year's shirt is white a blue I believe...
(The one I recived from Kumoricon Lite is anyway XD)
I like Zip-up because I think Pull-over's are just a hassle...
Take's more effort to pull then the zip XD

Thank you Tom. Maybe I should find out what tones of blue they have for hoodies and post them. Personally I think the blue would be pretty cool.Buuut, it seems we are in the minority. Though I might see if we can run two different color hoodies.

I'd be fine with blue, I just (personally) don't look good in most bright colors. But a darker blue is fine with me. I like blue, just nothing too bold, I guess.

I was thinking either a medium blue or darker, but not navy. I know some people can't handle jewel or neon colors....
In fact, here is one of the colors I am considering. There is this and Navy blue....

I personally want light blue, but any shade of blue would be good with me. I have way too many black hoodies already. XD

I don't mind blue. I really have enough black hoodies though. That is the main color that I buy, but it's not like I wont get one just because it's black.

I like white...it goes with the whole "kumo" theme...and well I would vote blue but it depends on what shade of blue.

Naturally green is superior but Blue/white/brown/yellow are the mascot colors this year and thus they are the the ones to focus on. Grey and Black are more popular colors for hoodies so sales put them on the list.

I'm really hoping that next year's mascot will be green toned.

As mentioned, this is a hoody that is not tied to a mascot, so it doesn't have to match up with the mascot this year. That is however different with the t-shirts I will be working on...more on that later.

I was also considering a charcoal gray, not quite black but not light either and I think it might be a good compromise.

I agree with zip up. Green would be totally sweet, but black or blue work fine as well for me.

The way I am thinking is like the 2005 shirt..with the logo right on the front and the chop on the back?

That is one of the ideas that I am considering. Depending what needs to be done on approval end first, I may post up designs and see which one you guys like best.

I'd like zipup like pretty much everyone else, but isn't purple one of our colors? That needs to be on the hoodie somewhere.

Also, please remember sizes. There's a lot of larger fans, and it seems hardly anyone accounts for XXL or XXXL in any real numbers. Maybe have a survey about sizes we intend to purchase.

No worries on that one. I am by no means a small person myself and sometimes (more often then not) sizes run small. I will make sure everyone is covered size wise.

Well, I am still working on the con t-shirts for this year and haven't determined yet a t-shirt color...and purple is definitely on the table.

I just wanted to toss my two cents in about the blue thing. I am okay with blue but I really don't like navy blue... and royal blue isn't that great a color for me personally. If it's a faded blue or lighter blue I'd be alright with that though.

Until then my vote remains with black/hopeful of green/purple. =)

Personally, I don't care if it's a zip up or a pull over. As for the color scheme, I voted on other colors, mainly because I feel that the color arrangement should involve what goes on it. Yes, I read the original description of what will be on it, but for me, that's not enough. If the design is created first, then I personally would like to see how it's arranged. That can influence the best color choice.
However, I'll probably get one in any case.

I like zip ups preferably using metal and also preferably prewashed cause sometimes i get hoodies and the spandex on the bottom goes all squiggly... I don't think people want a mono-chrome. But do suggest a 'dark' theme dark red-main color, black and something for text.

I just dont think people like default colors just make it darker, or lighter (guys woln't probably go for the lighter colors) and add a little flair to it. Maybe color samples are in order? Plus, i don't know if theres a chosen avatar for kcon yet but maybe something that complements that?
