I had originally planned the meeting for Saturday because I wasn't paying attention.
That's the day of the Cosplay Picnic!
So instead I moved it to Sunday, 1:00 pm in Pioneer Place mall's food court.
We're going to, hopefully, get to try the Pocky that totemo and laurifer got from Japan.
Including some of the rare Giant Pocky and the summer specials.
The other big reason to come is that Pocky Club wants to sponsor contestants in the various competitions at this year's Kumoricon. Pocky Club members have already stepped forward to compete in a few contests, like the cosplay skits and Karaoke Idol. I want to invite any of you competitors to come to this meeting and tell us why Pocky Club should support you at the convention. Think of it as a corporate sponsorship, only instead of logos and paychecks you'll get moral support and some Pocky. No reason not to, right?
Keep in mind that this isn't first come first serve, we need a reason to choose one competitor over another. This is something that I plan on expanding in future years.
