- My grandmother had a dog that was her baby.... and to the dog my grandmother was her mommy. If my grandma would be gone for even a few hours, the dog would get sad and anxious. Specifically my grandma, no one else in the house. Sometimes my grandmother would be gone for a month due to getting hurt or sick and need to go to a nursing home after the hospital for recovery. The dog would mope about waiting for my grandmother, and my grandmother would talk about nothing but getting back to her dog and always ask how the dog was doing....The dog would even get mad eventually and be mad and ignore my grandmother when she got back but that only lasted a day. My grandmother got hurt and has been having a really hard recovery.... the worst I've seen her... she hasn't been home in two months since the day she was rushed to the hospital. We had been meaning to take her dog over to see her at the nursing home.... but tonight we learned from my aunt the dog died from an injury to the neck after falling bad off the couch...... we don't know how to tell grandma, especially since she's had her first good healing day in two months.... and I can only think about how sad the dog was waiting for grandma to come home again.....

... that dog was literally what made her happy everyday and want to keep going...

+ Had an awesome weekend and saw some awesome friends up in portland area
++ Touchscreen phone started working again(it stopped the on halloween) so it freaked me out when an alarm for an event i had in it went off and I the screen was working.
+ I'm doing my first evening shift at work this week. This'll be interesting.
- I haven't had a lot of hours these last two weeks.

- Someone's been going through our mail and the debit card I got yesterday(finally!) had been ripped off the paper and the mail was open and slightly torn, so I need to get a new one just to be safe. It pisses me off though since now I have to wait another week for a new card.
