All I have to do for Misa is fix up my wig, sew my jumper, and get some fishnets and thigh highs. xD That's about 75-80% done, I'd say.

Mana is still just fabric in my closet and a few things in the guest room closet. Finally got that dowel rod for her staff; should probably take the hacksaw to it soon. Still wondering which I should get: Fosshape or Wonderflex. She has that Yu-Gi-Oh! Gravity Defying thing goin' on there. Pretty sure she'll be my hardest costume to date along with the "skimpiest" what with the shoulderless minidress thing. I'm about 20% done with her - so glad I have all summer for it.

Constance is still in my head. I really want to make her <3 It shouldn't be too hard if I get an easy pattern, though - lots of straight lines.
I stand by my saying I'll hate buttons by the time I'm done.

Jeez. Well see, the problem with my cosplay progress is that I really can't start working on anything until August because I'm regularly losing quite a bit of weight.

But, I guess some things I could get done.

Maya: The costume itself is done, it will just need to be retailored come con time @_@ plus fixing up some of the paint scratches on accessories. And I have to buy a wig now that I'm a blonde.

Secret cosplay 1: Haven't even started it. I'm going to go to the fabric store this weekend to get some stuff so I can start though

Secret cosplay 2: Again, haven't started. x_x I will order the wig soon.

Does trying to find a job so I can afford to not only cosplay but actually have moneys to spend at the con count? LOL. Thank God for tax refunds as I used those to pre-reg and get a room.

I keep looking at the fabric to remake my pirate bandana...but that's as far as I've got. LOL.

I've a few costumes I could bring to Kumoricon:

Costume 1 - Shuichi Shindou (Gravitation) - 100% done
Costume 2 - Dark Mousy (DN Angel) - 20% done
Costume 3 - Thief King Bakura, Egyptian version. (YGO) - 10% done
Costume 4 - Edward Elric (FullMetal Alchemist) - 50% done
Costume 5 - Toushiro Hitsugaya (Bleach) - 100% done
Costume 6 - Shihouin Yoruichi (Bleach) - 100% done
Costume 7 - Heero Yuy (Gundam Wing) - 100% done
Costume 8 - Haruhi Fujioka (Ouran High) - 100% done

I'm probably only going to bring my Bakura, Dark, and Hitsugaya costumes, though, since they'll either be done by then, or I'll be in a group. I may bring some other costumes just to see what'll happen, cause you never know at an anime convention. *grins*

I am going as Temari....god I have repeated the same thing over and over in the past hour. Anyway my costume is like 99% done. I just need the shoes. My hair is fine the way it is but I'm still going to dye it blond. As for Kumoricon lite it is going to stay dark drown. I will get pictures up after that, maybe sooner. That just requires me to put down the text books get into costume and have someone take a pic. v.v and I am very lazy person and midterms are coming up.

for the main ones that I know I will be working on this year.
1. High Priestess(Raganarok Online) - mostly some adjustments to make sure it looks good
2. Yukari Takeba(Persona 3) - have the mats, now I have to start sewing
3. Chroche (Ar Tonelico 2) - This is one is iffy as I'm determining how I'll make this one in the outfit I'm considering(see my avatar). If I feel this one would be too difficult or costly, I may consider another character/outfit from the series.
4. Tsukiumi (Sekirei) - This is alternate option if Ar Tonelico 2 doesn't work out for this year. Otherwise, this one is going in my 09 planns.

I've ordered my wig, and cut out one of my chakrams for my Axel cosplay (they're wood)
I cut it out with a jigsaw, and now all I have to do is carve it a little,sand it, and then paint it!
set aside the fact that I have to make another one =_='
But it's all going great! I've also saved up half of what I need to buy green contacts (they're 40)
and I'll get my orgy coat last.
Soooo, once I get find my camera, I'll take a picture of the work in progress. xD

Once at suncoast (back when it was still in the clackamas mall) I saw a special box set with the first dvd, the cd, some other stuff and the yellow head band bow thingy whatcha-ma call it.
So if you're willing to pay for the whole box at another suncoast, than you're set!
I haven't seen it anywhere else but on the internet.

Let's see naow... Yuffie has been partially done since who-knows-when of last year. As in, like, I have the shoulder armor done, the arm sock thing done, I'm working on the leg armor thing, the harness is finished, but DAYAM. It's gonna be a bitka to put together, not to mention I have no wig, haven't even BEGUN her headband, need to do something about my shuriken being obviously made of PVC pipe and totally crap-tastic, have to make a trip to goodwill to get all the extra clothing stuff...

Demyx? I need shoes and moar bindings. The wig is good, though. I like the wig. I also need to start building the sitar-o-doom, but I'll start that after I finish my Way to the Dawn.

Speaking of Riku and his inability to be normal-looking... GAH I HATE YOU SPAWN OF SEPHIROTH, WHY MUST YOUR COAT'S LAPELS MOCK ME SO? I also have to style my wig for that, practice walking around half-blind while slouching so I look more manly, and just plain get to work on that damn boy's shirt. Seriously! The thing is so much like Cloud's that I'm tempted to just make it out of the ribbed fleece I got for that! But I dun wanna, because I got some very nice fabric for it and ribbed fleece is a bad idea during the tail-end of summer.

I think I may have rambled. But oh well. I'll save my freaking out for when I start repairs on Tres for my little brother (while avoiding the temptation to make him an artbook anyone else). And the Grissom jacket. My dad is going to be Grissom. How cool will that be? I gat to watch constant amounts of CSI for reference material!

Is there a thread anywhere that lists Cosplay specific policies for the convention? I read the one on the main policies, but there wasn't too much detail. Though I'm mainly just looking for information on whether or not I can wear Rollerblades, with the wheels locked or not.

Thats too bad. When I ordered a wig off ebay it came really quickly. I'm sure it will come soon, it's not like you don't have enough time. The con is too far away x.x

Tomorrow my mom is taking me to a good will to get a regular dress so she can make a practice Kairi dress for KH2, before she actually starts. It took forever to find the right fabric AND color and it was the last of it they had. ^_^ But yay for Jo-anne fabrics. They have just about everything. :]

I read what code geass is about, sound a bit interesting, but dun think its my thing. Though I like this one picture of the main character in a dress. I always perfer to make them myself so its really disappointing if its a costume thats beyond my ability. now that I think about it....most my cosplays picks tend to always the girly ones(before it was girly looking guys, this year I"m actually crossplaying a girl).

Yeah. I am getting my hair dyed blond for Temari so I am already half way there, I just don't have the length. I went to good will today and found the perfect shirt and skirt....I just need to add more chains and gothic stuff like that. Depending on how much money I make over the summer will determine if I get a lolita dress or not.

Something you can possible do is take a white tee-shirt and cut the bottom half off and buy some yellow ribbon or something at a fabric store and glue/sew it on. I also found a website that is a tutorial to making a collar if you are interested. *points to avatar picture* I made both those collars.
