Hello, ^_^ I was wondering if any other of the filk writers that preformed in the various contest at the con would like to share their lryics. I'll start it off.  Here is the Filk my friend and I sang that won in the Karaoke Contest.

That was great, I was there for that.

So that's the filk and I knew I recognized that one.

I was very happy with the filk turnout at this year's karaoke. We had... what, three? Four entries? That was just enough: enough to have a filk category, and enough to tempt other filkers out of the woodwork for next year. It was exactly what I was hoping and planning for.

Considering I'm probably much better at writing humorous lyrics than I am at singing a serious solo, I may enter a filk in next year's Sakura Con. I have a very good song picked out, but now I need to figure out a hook and a series to use for material. I may use multiple anime series...

I was so shocked after the wigs came off though!  OMG make your real hair like that, then you can go on tour!

My wig? ^^; That's one of the cheapest wigs I have. I didn't know people thought it was real.   I might not throw it away now.

I've been thinking of starting a filk thread in "Fan Creations" where we can share our filk ideas with eachother. After all, I occasionally get ideas for filks that I think other people would be better equipped to write: whether it be because it better suits the other gender, or fans of a particular genre, or experts on something of which I'm not.

Care to join me? If so, I'll go over and post my first donated filk idea.
