I dont do college. I'm still in highschool. If I did go to college I would DIE.

Not so much the case in my school, I'm going to art school so the chances of you getting a job are based on if you basically learned the materiel and have the talent. You can have a 4.0 in school but anyone will take another student over you if they can draw better yeah?
I'm mostly trying to get good grades for myself.
I still have a 3.6, if I work really hard I can probably bring it up a few points before I graduate.

I'm going to college so that I have tangible evidence to support the notion that I have the skills to perform excellent quality work. I'm not too concerned about grades; I'll have a portfolio to show the actual quality of my work. I just seek a degree so that employers will notice me. Honestly, as long as my GPA stays above a 2.0 and I am able to get grants to pay for my expenses in College, I couldn't care less about what grades I'm getting. It's not like I'm going to be trying to get into Law or Medical in the future, so I don't have to impress people with an arbitrary value such as grades. I'm paying for the certification and the education, not to give myself some vague and unfulfilling accomplishment to put on a resumé.

I wouldn't be discouraged if your grades aren't amazing.
I'm barely keeping over 3.5 and my folks aren't too impressed, but when you're taking lots of credits toward a degree, and you want to have a life at the same time, it's pretty tough.
Wasn't Bush a C average? and he became president. Not the best, sure, but it's something isn't it?
I think grades are important to a certain degree (at least passing your classes), but I think it's harsh to say that one shouldn't go to college if they're not going to ace everything. I do understand that it's something we're paying for (I'm going to be paying off my loans for a lifetime), but isn't part of it for our own self growth?

I hope that made some kind of sense. :s

Hey All,

Been out for a while what with college and moving and getting in a car accident happening all at once.
Finally done with spring term (FINISHED MY FIRST YEAR!!!). Got a new car, love my 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, but I really miss my integra. It was my first car and I was really sad to have to let it go. AAAND I now live in my own apartment with just one room mate out here in beautiful Beaverton (on Murray and Milikan way). Anywhosles just stopping in to say hi all, long time no speak!

House-sitting for my mom. There are beds and stuff, but they can't live up to my memory foam bed. I might just find a couch or something to crash on for a quick nap. I have to feed cats and stuff in the morning though, so I can't sleep in until 2 or 3pm like I have been.

The last dream I had, which was either last night or the night before that, I was told throughout the dream that I was either dead, or that I was about to die... in my sleep. S**t, I thought I had died. Screaming at the top of my lungs and pounding on glass doors, yet people couldn't see me or hear me...

Yeah, nightmares aren't fun at all. I believe that sometimes you can learn from them though. Dreams, I mean. Sometimes they can also be completely random so it's up to you to decipher them, really.

I once had a dream that I was being chased by a giant pineapple through an airport... but I digress.
