Day 1 Done

Well lets see... how to recap such a wonderful day
I started at 7pm on friday night picking up my pre-reg badge.  nice n quick
then I spent until 10pm helping set up con stuff. met lotsa fun staffers

saturday morning and 8:30 rolls around finding me at the hotel after 2 bus rides and a max ride and a 9 block walk in costune.  *grins* I got more then a few glances and questions.  I love makeing a scene like that.

I got on with the security staff and being that my costume was the full Japaneese Military Dress Uniform from Full Metal Alchamist I fit in rather nicely.  I spent the first few hours floating around the game room makeing sure all bades were visible and helping people to get a feel for where to go and such.

Now I have seen many a con with many con-goers in cosplay but this is the first time I myself have gone in costume and I am rather pelased with the results.  Lotsa ladies hugging or GLOMPing me    good times  I ALMOST made it into the dateing competition *grumbles* ah but u know how that goes LOL.

I recieved an award for 4th best Hall Costume.   IM SOOOOO PROUD!

then finished up with more wandering, helping, security stuff and looking generally important  I look forward to many many more friends that I shall soon make on these next 2 days.

oh and on a side note: *drools over the girl in the lum costume* SUPER HOT!!!

I'm glad you are having fun!  I just wanted to clarify something about your Hall Cosplay award.  You just happened to be person number 4 to get your picture taken at the info desk.  The numbers are to make sure we put the correct name with the pictures for the web page.  The hall cosplay contest does not have rankings.

Today was quite a bit more relaxed.

I arived at 8:30 and fell right into the role of security again .  gotta love the game room and main lobby.  also helped get those naughty projectors working agian.  (tempermental little machines those things are)

I participated in the Cosplay walk-on event today but sadly have to wait till tomorrow to find out how I did.  *shrugs* none the less It was turuely fun to hang out with all the great cosplayers and hear about how they made their costume and get to know them all *smiles big*

lots more hot ladies today to stare at of course *grins*
near the end I was able to hang with my friend who cosplayed as Vash The Stampede.    he got mistaken for security and fell right into the roll LOL.  it all worked out perfectly.

well as I feel I am rambeling I am headed to bed.  to any who wwanted to get ahold of me from the con im the guy dressed in the full metal alchamest suit with glass's and long hair.  you cant miss me, IM BIG AND BLUE WITH WHITE STRIPES!  just toss me a message here or email me.  or some other form fo contact.  its all there in my profile *waves*

yeah i left right before the dance started and just got home ...its 1:43 am.

I had a great night. I hope to know the cosplay costume contest results sometime later today. I also hope that some people will have random pictures of me sleeping in the chair in frot of the elavator on 3rd floor (I was pockied and was informed that i was givenrandom hugs as i slept.) Oh yeah.... I was Ulala and it was my first con and first cosplay and i was n the contest.... 3rd on stage.

Yo man! Its me, ED! well...one of them. The one with the black hair...Heh...oops! Anyway. Yeah, i just got home from the dance, and it totally sucked. Not the dance mind you, but the fact that the last MAX train was at midnight. We left AT midnight. We didn't get to the MAX till 12:10, and stood there till 12:20 until some guy in the Quik-i-mart thingie told us they don't run for a while on Sundays. Meh. Stupid Max. Anyway. Your costume was awesome though. I was a Con-Virgin, and I was one of the three girls during the Karaoke Contest, bowing down to the almighty future God of Goth. He was awesome. We're not worthy...

But yeah. Long day, glad to be home. I don't even think I'll sleep tonight. Just get ready for later. See you later!
