Well actually to tell the truth, IF I end up comeing by myself, then I'll either be carrying a Vincent plushy, and dressed like a girl vincent, Or I'll be tifa with a longer shirt, both of these look more normal than aerith.......... without a friend to travle with I'm not that brave.. $:-\$

My brother and I will be going sometime tomorrow afternoon.
I want to see A-Key-Kyo, so I'm planning on getting there by 1:45.
I'm being bad and skipping out on work, but it's cool because I know I can get away with it.

My bro and I just discovered we have very similar Ramones t-shirts so we are going to be nerds and both wear our Ramones shirts.

um, I'm relatively new to the forums, I've been a lurker for a few months cuz I kept losing my password. I'd like to meet everyone if you don't mind a total newb saying hi. I'm heading up there tomorrow to see A key kyo as well. My brother will be with me too. I'll bring my badge from this years con if that'll help.

Hi!! I dont mind at all, I hate the Noob classifacations anyways, they seem mean to me, (I meen I hate how people call other people noobs, it seems lke a mean nickname)

according to my gaming group it has different meanings depending on how you spell it, but that's an argument I'm willing to stay out of. lol. I wasn't using it to be mean, I'm just realtively new to the group meet ups because I was living on the coast before and I couldn't make it to any meet ups. I recently moved to Monmouth which is close to salem so I can make it to all these meets and say hi to people.

Oh well, we got off the ground eventually and settled on the Golden Crown, after I threw my Tamaki fit about how Sambi was closed. ~_~;

it was a really fun festival. The highlights for me being (obviously) watching A-Key Kyo (twice!), and meeting fellow cosplayers like Aeris. Good times!

Aww, you went? I was hoping I'd run into you.

I was there with my brother from about 1:40-4:00 or so on Sunday.
We wandered, ate takoyaki, got green flakes stuck in our teeth, watched some fools scarf tofu, acted like nerds.
Then we went to watch A-Key-Kyo perform, and I ran into a girl I recognized who had cosplayed Lan Fan from Fullmetal Alchemist at the con. I started talking to her and she actually recognized me as the Mion cosplayer. Yay!

We talked a bit about Higurashi and FMA and she made me really want to catch up on the manga. The english release has just caught up to where I last left off! We ended up hanging out for most of the festival, she was really nice!
And I ran into an awesome Matt (from Death Note) whose picture I had taken at the con. I talked a bit to her and the Aeris that she was with, and they were really cool!
Lots of fun was had! I ate too much takoyaki.
