Brawl for the bucket
« on: September 02, 2008, 02:34:53 pm »
The bucket battle all weekend was pretty fun. I was going to do a similar idea with 7 dragon balls, but I was afraid that they might get stepped on or stolen, plus I put too much detail into the battle system. But I'm thinking of doing a similar one for next year or even at the mini meetups.
Cosplays for Kumoricon 2014
Day 1 Fix-it Felix Jr. (w/ gold sledge)
Day 2 Hitmonchan and Kenny
Day 3 SS Future Trunks (DBZ)
Day 4 Jason Silverheart Pirate OC
Sonic The Hedgehog Kigurumi

I didn't see the bucket at all until Sunday (I think XD,) but itwas tremendous fun battling for it. The flagpole was slightly dangerous though, I nearly impaled a few pedestrians O_O

I heard they kept changing the bucket because of all the names, so in total I had almost ten tallies I think from all the buckets added together. XD I nearly killed a Roxas with the flagpole

I wanted to play but I was really busy all weekend or if I wasn't just frantically running around with a con newcomer friend of mine. I will definitely play it in 09! the dragon ball idea sounds cool but yeah the theft/getting broken does permit a bit of a concern.

damn straight.  it was like, 74. it ended up they guy that did win was sitting next to me at closing ceremonies.
If I had've known that people would call me my forum name at the con, I wouldn't of picked something so dumb.

yeah, but I realized I spent the whole con chasing the bucket and didn't get to enjoy much of anything else. so this year I didn't go after it much. but I can always be proud to say I was the first.

I saw the bucket a couple times, but didn't know what it was for.

How exactly does that competition work?

basically it's rock paper scissors and if you win you either take the bucket or add a point to your name. The person with the most points at the end of the con gets a badge (I believe it is a VIP badge)

I have only seen it and never participated so correct me if I'm wrong.

it might just be a regular badge I'm not sure.
