LARP for 2007?

I was looking for threads on LARP, but they all dated back to '05 or '06.

Is there going to be one this year?
I remember seeing people with giant buttons that said "NPC", "Sidekick", etc, and I always wanted one...

As far as I know, there will be a Hentai RPG starting Saturday night at 10, which I am fairly sure is 17+ if not 18+, and on Sunday a Feng Shui RPG starting at 2 PM. If you'd like to sign up another RPG or LARP, let me know and I can see if we can fit it on the schedule. Thanks!

Compared to the LARP we had in 2005, we're not going to have a LARP this year. that madness caused too many problems for the staff. I honestly don't think we could get it done again.

However if we get together some cash we could probably convince someone to make a batch of those shway buttons. It couldn't be too expensive.

the 2005 LARP was chaos. you were whatever character you were cosplaying and most of it was just goofing off and playing with the mountain of props that the provided. there was a Good GM and an Evil GM and then me, the Neutral GM. I had fun and helped people play the Serenity video game. I played the screen while they used the controls to make Kaylie fight off the evil space monkeys that were trying to destroy the engine room.

At the end the was a climactic battle between good and evil where the forces of Evil won by a very narrow margin. Evil aparently used its control over the convention to keep us from having more LARPs!

Cosplay Chess is a more structured version of this though, it's the next best thing and we do have that!
