I was wondering if there was any shops in Salem or near there that sell Asian type stuff.  One of the things I'm looking for is  Bento Lunch box but thought it would be cool if there was a place that sold a variety of things.  If there isn't one in Salem or near where else in Oregon by chance is there one?

Uwajimaya, of course.  =3  It's in Portland (Beaverton, actually, but meh.), but it's well worth it and I'd say your best bet at getting what you want.

Oh, and there's a new-ish Cost Plus import store in Keizer.
Might be harder to find stuff there, though.

I recommend Uwajimaya, all the way. It might not be close but it's worth the visit.

No no thank you very much it gets me going somewhere on the weekends.  I just thought it would be cool to have a bento box to take lunchs to work.  That and hopefully they have one that microwavable too.  I'm trying also to decorate my apartment with asian undertones.

Yeah I figured thats where I would have to go.  Though its sad the ones I liked were not microwave safe.  I also want to get myself a book on recipies for bento lunchs.  Mmmmmmm goodness.
