This is basically a mass shout-out to those folks I met last year at the con, to let you know that, like fifty-odd other people in this section of the forums, I need a room!  >.<

hi friends

you know, if i do get sunday off, i could see if i have the money to share a room with you. could you please look into what the prices would be and let me know?

otherwise i'm basically going to adopt our fanfic room during the hours it's open, then maybe stay at some cheap place, drive back home to eugene, or try to find a friend in town who isn't going to be gone at burning man.

or maybe stay at the goddess temple but i don't think they'd  be fond of the hours i would be keeping

Sure! :D I'm going solo this year, so I actually have room for three. I'll warn you, I requested a non-smoking room with 2 double-beds, but the hotel said they couldn't guarantee it.

Cool! I will have a table in the artist alley, so that might be a good place to meet up Saturday. I may also be there Friday evening to claim my table and start setting up, but I'm not sure yet. If you like, you can email me, and we can work out the details.

well i'm waiting to hear from filkaeris, and to find out what kind of $ would be involved, and might have to commute sat night if i don't find someone to feed my fish and/or if i don't get permission to skip work sun but i should know more by thurs

Okay. I have the con room-rate $89/night for two nights. I don't know how many people are sharing the room, so I can't say how much per person it will be yet. Let me know if you want the room or not when you find out, so I have time to look for other roommates if I need to. Thanks!

Oh yeah! For your fishies, if you can't find someone to feed them, you can buy time-release feeding blocks for them at a pet store.

hey jelibean! i just clicked on your link. i had no idea you were into the piratey thing. for the past couple years my life has been largely centered around pirate larping in the SCA! (society for creative anachronism). this makes me want to room with you!

Pirates! I love pirates! Arrr. My friends and I have been dressing up as pirates for a couple years now too. We've done some stuff on our own and a couple things with the PotC Interactive group. We marched with the Brotherhood of Oceanic Mercenaries in the starlight parade this year. :)

ah my room was fun we had 6 to 7 guys in a room all from, the age of 18-15 so  yeah we got a little loud and stuff we just reallly never slept luckly we devised a system called whoever gets to the bed first gets the bed lol
 well yeah if anybody would have asked they could have stayed with us 2
