Preemptive Strike!

There will be a momentous meeting in February and I suggest that as many people as possible show up.
Like, if you're in Oregon of Washington I'd love to see you.

On February 10th in Eugene and Feb 11th in Portland we'll be meeting to discuss the future of the Club and how exactly we will be operating with the convention.

The time of the Kumoricon meeting in Eugene is officially undecided at the moment. I think that Gateway Mall's foodcourt is a good enough place for us to meet up in Eugene. It's easy to find from the freeway. Just in case the Kumoricon meeting is at noon I will declare that the Pocky Club meeting will be at 11:00am. So those of you who live south of Salem, come on over to Eugene on the 10th and we can all hang out before the Kumoricon meeting.

In Portland we'll be meeting in the Lloyd Center food court around 12 (This has been pushed back since Lloyd Center opened at 11. >_> ). That should give people plenty of time to get there since its right on the MAX line. If we have enough cars and permission from parents we may visit the hotel or the Fubon Asian Mall down on 82nd avenue. Both are things that every member of Pocky Club should see.

Let me know if you can or can't make it to these meeting and if there's anything I can do to help you get there! Pocky Club needs everybody and this is a great time to join and help shape the future!

The Kumoricon February general meeting is at 2pm. It doesn't say this in the sentence about the February meeting, but it says it at the bottom, where it says that all the meetings are from 2pm to 5pm. ^_^

Princess, I think it's time you've found your own way around town. isn't there ANYONE you can charm into giving you a ride to the mall?

Also, note to everyone, I'm changing the meeting time on the 11th to 12:00 because Lloyd Center OPENS at 11 and that means we'd all be late. Heh heh. It should be a little easier to get to now.

Jaz, we can take the MAX but if you and Chriss will be coming to both meetings then a ride into Portland would be awesome. The catch is that Vallie has to be at the envelope stuffing at 11:30.

As far as I know, the people will be meeting at the PGE Park MAX stop at 11:30 am before the meeting. Where the meeting itself is, well that's staff information that I don't have.

Yeah unfortunately Tom thought it was a good idea to schedule a meeting right when I'm suppossed to be holding envelope stuffing, so I won't be joining you.

I'd take you up on the offer of a ride, Jaz, but that would mean I'd be sitting outside for over an hour waiting for everyone else to get to PGE Park, and it's probably going to be cold. So, I'll probably just take the max seperately. :/

Well ok then. Yeah, if I could get dropped off at the PGE Max station between 11:30 and 11:45, that'd be good. Also, if someone can take me through a drive through so I can grab lunch on my way over there, that would be pretty awesome as well.

In that case,looks like I'll be riding in with my friend in Hillsboro (I convinced her to come to the meeting). That means I'm one step closer to getting Princess a ride to Lloyd Center!

I'm in Hillsboro this morning and I hope you'll be awake soon so I can call you. My ride to Lloyd Center has agreed to pick you up.

No-one showed up at the meeting in Eugene before the General meeting so it was soret of waste of time. I expected at least ONE of you guys to show up.....

Anyway, I did manage to discuss a great deal of information with the staff and will be bringing my notes to the meeting later today.

Again, NOON, Lloyd Center food court. I encourage you to come even if you're not Pocky Club, just so we can meet up and talk about the convention. I can fill you in on some of the stuff that was discussed at the meeting. (About half really, after the announcements there was basically a Prog table and an Ops table. I was with Prog).

If you really want Ops gossip...uh... go to the Envelope stuffing!
