Yay, I have nearly completed my Ouran cosplay! I just have to iron the patch onto my jacket (very nice jacket as well, though it looks a little large on me).

Note to all cosplayers: the stripe on the ties isn't silver, it's a light lavander, a little on the darker purple side. So be a litle careful with whatever color you choose for painting/sewing onto your black tie.

I'll have pics of my tie posted as soon as I get around to it, I'm thinking of putting a little embroidery onto it when I sew the ribbon onto the tie. Just to make it seem more 'Ouran'. ^.^

Us Ouran people are way ahead of ourselves. It hasn't even been a month since the con, and we're already planning next year. Wow.... I applaud you all. I have Sakura-Con and Anime Evolution to plan before Kumori-Con and possibly Anime Expo. @.@ Makes my head spin.

It's easier for some of us to plan this Con, Wind, because, at least in my case, it's pretty much the only Con I got to. Though I am going to Nan Desu Kan this year (closest to where I live), but I'm only wearing my boring old furisode kimono there. I'm saving the spectacular stuff for Kumori Con! ^.^

thing i love about host club is that its such an ansomble cast its the whole group that has the apeal like azumanga daioh its hard to pick a fave as each is so loveable in their own way

But it would help to get the girls' uniform pattern before Halloween is over. I altered a witch/Alice in Wonderland pattern.
And I need a smaller one. My first one wasn't tight enough to be accurate. xD;

You guys could try doing a cosplay trick o' treating. I think there are some orginizations that trick o' treat for donations, so it would go to a worthy cause.

That, and the added fun of running around in character and making everyone look at you odd. Or join in, you never know who lives behind some doors, some of them may even be bigger otaku than us. :wink:

Wow. So many people are planning on cosplaying Ouran already for KumoriCon...it's so far away (as someone else pointed out)...I change so many times before knowing what cosplay I want to do...Dx;;

But at the moment, yes, it would be lots of fun to cosplay Ouran and have a huge photoshoot and/or go hang out at the park or something. (I'm planning on going as Kyouya for SakuraCon and am bringing along a Tamaki and a Haruhi...Tou-san, Kaa-san, and...ehh...I don't know "daughter". Dx; So maybe we'll do it at KumoriCon, too...who knows?)

It would be fun to have a "hosting session" of some sort...I've heard it's been done at another con before (I don't remember which one, though). Heh.

I might alter my uniform from this year for Halloween and next year, so it's a little more accurate, like I already said.
If I go in the Aria Company uniform (from Aqua and Aria) it'll probably be on Monday next year...or whenever the Ouran photoshoot isn't. xD
Otherwise, I'm going to be in my girls' uniform for the majority of the time. =3
