and the thing is i just turned 24 so i'm now droped from my mom insurance
i woke up sick on the 5th, i thought i was almost better but i was running a bit of a temp this morning andi have a tiny bit of a cough that i hope will go away
this was also my last week at jo annes because i'm starting schooll and i missed 2 of my 3 days

I think I had a slight irritation in my throat for like, a day or something. But I thought it was just allergies. One of my co-workers suggested it was from some fires that occured and the smoke was bothering me. I dunno. Sucks for anyone that got a bad cold.

One of our roomates got a nasty sinus infection, while her fiance got a minor cold afterwards. The missus and I have a very slight cold right now, but it's already fading.

I have something like that.

The first part is my fault. For a couple of days after the con I couldn't retain water. I think I had sweat and lost a lot of salt. So basically I had a thirst I couldn't quench. A lot of this is also because I didn't drink enough water at the con.

Everyone make sure to drink lots and lots next year! Also don't have too much sugar or caffine. Sugar and caffine make water run right though you. So even if you are drinking a soda or something it won't hyrate you. If you are going to drink soda at least get something caffine free and if possible diet. (Sugar free.)

Now that I have enough salt in me agian... I have this terrible sour throught and am really tired. Boo! *hisses at ailments*

Well, if anything, I took one of those "Emergen-C" things during the con which might have helped a little (although I have no proof it did anything).

All three of us who attended the con got sick. o_O

I went with State Alchemist and another friend. On Sunday I woke up with a bad dodgey stomach, and early in the morning my one friend called to say she wasn't going to be able to go to the con because she was sick. I almost didn't go on Sunday because I wasn't feeling any better. But in the end I did. After falling asleep on the ride over to the con (And feeling like I was gonna get sick the whole way over.) State Alchemist bolts out of the car, runs into the bathroom, and gets sick. o_O Weird stuff. Here I'm the one feeling like crap, and State Alchemist (Who felt fine.) suddenly is the one getting sick. Oh the irony!

I didn't get sick although {m} could barely speak near the end but I think that wsa just stress! You people just got glomped by the Otaku virus carriers!

Although I did end up sleeping 14 hours staight... So sleepy after con stress..... ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz......

oh! the kumo luffs you back! I'm /in/ luff with the kumo, it CHANGED MY LIFE. Just about as much as Snakes on a Plane changed my cousin's life. =3 Which is HUGE. HUGE change. I mean, it's snakes on a plane.

Pro to the con;
I lost 5 pounds from all the running around/not eating, met lotsa peeps, had fun.

Cons to the con;
I lost my voice, I got a cold, I'm still tired and sleepy all the time, even after sleeping two days straight.

Note to self; Take lotsa vitamans C with next time, don't hand clap everyone in line without using alchohlic atinseptic whipes after each touch, wear sugerical mask to avoid contamination. >.> *lol*

Seriouly though, wash yer hands in the bathroom people! And Ky, stay away from me till yer better! Whatever you have, I don't want:P

P.S. Most of this post is just a joke, though the washing yer hands is a good idea.
And I do have a cold. ick.

Ha ha ha! I'm fine.

I actually got my average ammount of sleep during the convention and had about 2 parts soda, 1 part water and 1 part juice for my drinks. No cold here!

Also, it was my roomates who BROUGHT the cold to the convention and fought it off (shared it) on Friday Night and Saturday morning. Heh heh, beware the plague Pocky! OMG!

I think that someone is going to take away my food handler's card.

I suffered really bad exhaustion after con. I wound up calling off from work on Tuesday so I could sleep, and even then I was just TIRED and worn down the rest of the week until I could finally sleep in on Saturday.

You know, nothing really bad happened to me. I was bloody exhausted, went home and passed out, had a friend call me because he was crashing with me that night and apparently experienced a lot of confusion when awoken:

Him: So how do I get to your place?
Me: What? Are you headed to ops? [Sleepily]
Him: ...No dude, the con is OVER.
Me: ...are you in the lobby?
Him: Kumoricon is over, man! You're at home, sleeping! It's been over for X hours now! How do I get to your place?
Me: ...what?
Him: *Laughing* Nevermind, I'll call you back in a few hours when you've had some sleep.

Worst thing that's happened is my throat was a little raspy and I had a slight cough due to yelling, but it was nothing major. Night before this one was the first time I've managed to get a full 8 hours in one chunk in about a week, though. Heh.

Oh, yeah, I got it. And gave it to my co workers. (They needed a day off.) I went home early on Friday and slept for like 18 hours straight. Gus couldn't wake me.

What's funny is, Guspasho seems fine.

I did not get a cold, but I was tired before the con and up till midnight on Friday working then loading the truck. The loading and unloading and set up on Saturday morning was exhausting. I went to the store to get Duct tape, Glue stick, Safety Pins and Soda and also got Tylenol Arthritis that I ate like candy though out the con. As the store was out of diet I got regular soda and I did my panel on a no sleep sugar high. By Monday night I was wiped and crashed at a friends house about 6PM after 10 min of Avatar. I was so tired I even skipped calling an Aunt who I was supposed to try to hook up with for dinner. A nerdy aunt with glasses who likes costumes and Armour

I think I got mono from the con (going to get a blood test today to find out but I'm pretty sure it's what it is).

Worst part about it? I didn't even kiss anyone!!! *cries* I only had one sip of someone else's drink and that was it!

I swear off sharing drinks for the rest of my life...

...Or until a friend of mine has a flavour of ramune I want to try before buying.

EDIT: Whoo hoo! Looks like it's probably just a nasty virus. Better than mono! But I did find out that somehow I bruised the carteladge of one rib. And I have no idea how it happened. o.O
