Like the title says, what are some funny phrases you heard/said during the Kcon of 2006?

Funny things I heard....
All the Yaoi stuff this year was freaking helerious.
And Bakazoku in general was AWESOME
I wish I could have gone to the 18+ panel, but sadly, im 16. *curses*

There was some guy in line holding his laptop.. I think he was talking about not being old enough to drink but he wouldn't really mind if it someone did buy him drinks..

So I look at him (I'm a guy as well) and say something essentially along the lines of, "Dude.. are you trying to get me to get you drunk so I'll sleep with you? Because you don't have to be drunk."

I was with old highschool buddies most of the time, so it was pretty much same-ole' stuff. x3

Not that it's not funny. I just don't patricularly remember anything. >_<

Although, I did hear some ambient noise of some guy screaming hysterically something like

"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! CALL 911, SHE'S---!!"

And then a moment later, the same voice only quieter said

"Oh, wait. Nevermind."

My favorite saying took place when I was waiting in line for the pre-reg line and a ninja dropped the box of Cheez-its on the ground:

and then he used CPR and held them up high

one of the most amusing quotes was heard on monday while i was hosting the warhammer games. it went a little something like this: "We just saw some hot x-rated sea otter on sea otter action." (this is probably misquoted, but the you get the idea)

There was also the grand discussion regarding the combination of Vicious ans Sephiroth, creating Viceroth. This got some laughs. Then, of course, I countered with my combination of Spike and Cloud, creating the notorious Sploud.

Well, off-hand before I really think on it too hard..I just have this going through my head everynow and then from the Hybrid Contest. A female Edward Elric(in very very well done look through her hair and costume I must add) was singing the first line of her song (which is a adjustment of old song that I've heard before the words "Major-General" are in place of the last two in the real one)

I am the very model of modern metal alchemist...

And note that this isn't sung slow either, it's fairly fast, so cudo's to her. If she or anyone who reads this know her, please let me how to get in any form of contact with her; on the forum is just fine, just...something. My battery died on my camera before she started that song and I would have simply LOVED to get it..quite frankly, that's not easy to do at that speed and she did it perfectly (*shifty eyes*). ^_^ Maybe somebody got it. ^_^ Oh yes..this is also my first post on here. Yo.

Not sure what it was all about, but a few friends and I were in the sitting area near the elevator on the 4th floor. Paramedics came up, and went down the hall and came back with someone on a stretcher. He seemed to be quite out of it, so dehydration could very likely be the case.

But again, I have no idea for sure what the reason was.

So, I'm walking from the lobby towards the stairs going to the panel rooms, and standing by the elevator is a cosplayer that looks like Gekkou Hayate from Naruto (many apologies if I got the character wrong dear cosplayer). I hear, "Psst, come here", from the cosplayer. Thinking he may need directions or have a question, I go to him, like a good staff member should. I ask him what's up. With his ninja like quickness, he brandishes his weapon of choice.

"SPORK!"

I looked at him, looked at his spork.

"You don't have that peace tied."

After we recovered from giggles, he told me he'd been waiting all day for someone to say that.

On the last day, I had this thought as I was sitting in the programming suite located just across the hall from Viewing room 3.

"Hearing the happy Jpop next door somehow reminds me of the band playing as the Titanic sank."

That was someone form my group. She... SHE had been playing DDR and overheated.

Note for con staff: better ventilation, more water, and fewer bodies in the game room.

Oh, that was Courtney, she won his necklace last year at an auction, in an easier expression she won his balls. I tried them on, they're really heavy Dx When I took them off my hair got caught in them.
