you'll prolly have to make the gloves out of plain white ones and draw the symbols, the guns you can try to make or look for waterguns and customize them. good luck.
And now I'm a catgirl?

The voice of the one I love
was all I could hear as I lay broken in the darkness
My own voice faltered
My wings no longer had the strength to fly

Yeah... Just drawing onto white gloves would be good.  But finding gloves durning the summer... XD  You might have to sew them yourself.

I have no experience in guns... but you should buy a bunch of the clear plastic drink things (I can't remember the brand... might be cool-aid)  :D Get whatever flavour is red, and you can have some blood with you XDDDDD

Anyway, Alucard is really cool!  Hope the costume works out!
It doesn't matter whether you win or squelch, but how you play the tuba.

For the basic white gloves, like Alucards, you can visit just about any magic or costume shop and find them.  You WILL have to draw the symbols on the gloves yourself though.

For the guns I have no clue.  Just remember that they have unique engravings on them, and they are very big, very long, and very heavy in the anime. ^.^

What does it say about me that I thought "Wait a minute, Alucard doesn't use guns!" and then realized you were talking about the one from Hellsing as opposed to the one from Castlevania?

Totally, I was going to say "Uh... which Alucard? The one with the original name?"

I'm in the same boat you are Zenn.  Gotta find white gloves and figure out how to make Anderson's bayonets.

We'll have to have ourselves a duel or something. :)

Please, PLEASE, do NOT duel on Con grounds.  Someone will probably poke an eye out, or lose a fang, and then the Con itself will be in trouble. >.<

Eh, I was speaking metaphorically.  I was thinking something more along the lines of staring menacingly at each other.

There won't be enough aspirin in the world to recover from this Con, will there? >.<

Any acts of violence will incur my wrath, and a warning.  After three warnings, you're kicked out of the Con, end of story.  Just keep that in mind.

That's what you and everyone else will say.  I'm just giving you a decent warning.

the fanbook from BESM covers the first 6 eps of hellsing......frig, i used to have it, did i loan it to someone? haven't seen it since i packed to move......anyway, there's a great closeup of the gloves in it. you could hypothetically xerox it onto an overhead projector clear page, and affix that to the gloves? or use that for tracing? just a thought
