Anyone from Battle Ground (or around) going to the con?

I've got a ride (I think), just curious. I've never really ran into too many people in Battle Ground that were into anime, besides the usual DBZ/Naruto/etc. (Although once I'm pretty sure I saw a kid cosplaying at the Battle Ground Fred Meyer's.. so who knows.)

That's because most Battle Grounders are hicks, and therefore, are into cowtipping & not anime.  Congrats on being a standout in a sad town, and I know how it feels.

BUt, yes, as you may have noticed, I too am coming from Clark County, from Washougal.  Wee.

See ya at the con!
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh

Hahahah right on. Actually, as I was telling someone yesterday.. I don't think there's a single cow or horse in Battle Ground city limits! Of course that was a lot different when I moved here 16 years ago.. there was a field of horses next to my school and fields of cows on one of the main streets! Of course now it's all houses. Poo to that, too! :(

And there's atleast 2 anime fans that I can think of outside of me. One of them I met on some like, "personals/networking" website a lonnng time ago and another is a girl that I actually met from my website. o_O;

Plus like I've said... I swear I've seen a kid cosplaying at Fred Meyer's. And I did get a few honks when I'd walk around town wearing my fanciful Dejiko hat.. but they may have just been fans of people that wear cat hats, so who knows for sure...

Actually I just remembered.. I once saw a Chi (!) cosplayer on MySpace from Battle Ground$!@#

It's sad.. there's a group of hicks that sit outside the Fred Meyer's parking lot all night every single night. I have no idea what they do. But it's annoying having to see them there every single night!
