Bleach will start to air in english on adult swim.....
September 9th, 12:30am.

Happy, Sad?
I'm kinda hesitant to how it will be in English, and that it will from then on be overdone at Anime Conventions..... :x

The good thing is, If I dont like it, I've already seen up to episode 80 something or whatever the latest one is out, so I dont have to watch it, whoohoo!!!!

Also, a new anime is starting right before that at 12am, something called "Trinity Blood" Whats that?

I'm not sure if i'll be happy about it unill i see or rather hear it. I have watched quite a few of them with subtitles, so i've grown attached to those voices. However, it will be nice so if i'm tired and don't feel like sitting at my computer i can just watch it on tv...if you get what i mean. So I have pros and cons about it, but we'll see what happens. Trinity blood...that sounds very familiar.

*shruggs* I give every dubbed anime a chance, *frowns* but a lot of them I don't like. *clasps hands together* I hope that this one is good, *squeals* now that I have cable back!

I've read the voice cast list, and it looks pretty solid. Only a few of them may sound bad. So, I have high hopes.

Yeah... Rukia was TOOO GIRLY!! And not stern enough.
At least it's not like the days of DIC and her name was changed to Sarah or something.

I think its too early to judge just based on the that you tube video.  While that the video gives idea how the voice actor sounds like, but thats while they're performing for a different character which likely why Rukia sounds so "girly".

BLEACH ENGLISH VOICE PREVIEW: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyvTA2mv2UU

I can honestly say I hate that video right now.

Nobody, aside from those invovled in the production, knows what they sound like.

Taking voices from previous things these people have been in and trying to say thats how they will sound is a huge insult to these actors. Many of them can do hundred of variations of voices.

We will all just have to wait until September 9th to hear their voices.

In my personal opinion, ANYONE reading these should NOT take that video as solid proof of how the characters will sound, as its highly likely thats not completely accurate as to how they will sound.

In my opinion, Adult Swim usually airs really good dubs, so I'm not worried.

You know I do have to agree with you on that. I think the only series that adult swim has chosen that I disliked was big o, and that wasn't because of the voices I just disliked the series...So that is reasuring.

Watching dubbed anime on TV that I orginally watched on my computer is always weird.

I'll watch it on TV, and have this nagging feeling that I should be sitting in my computer chair.

And then I'll stare pathetically at my computer, because I like computer better than TV. :[

I'm really excited about the Trinity Blood / Bleach hour~ TB got licensed before I could finish watching it, and Bleach is one of my favorites of all time.

I can't wait to see the dub~ it's always so different to watch it on television versus the computer (for example, little did I know that Yami no Matsuei had good animation until I saw it on tv!). That, and it has Derek Stephen Prince, whom I LOVE and can't wait to listen to (despite the fact that I don't think he matches Ishida at all, lole)! :]

:?  I'm not sure, I think the Japanese voices work so awesomely well I'm afraid that the english might skewer that (as they often do >__>). But I really don't know, so... yup. I <3 Bleach, and if they kill it I'll be rather angry >=3
