Grant High School Anyone???

Hi, my name is Eri and I am currently living in Southern Maryland. However, on Aug 25th I will be visiting Oregon for my cousin's wedding, and staying in Portland with my mom for good. In other words, I'm moving to Portland and I will absolutely know no one there. I have been a very dedicated anime fan for well over a couple years now, and I would love to make friends in Portland who share the same passion as I do. I will hopefully be able to attend my first Kumoricon, although it's not my first anime con... (Otakon 2005, unfortunately I won't be making it this year). But to the point, I was wondering if any of you will be attending Grant High School this school year. I'd love to make some new friends and be able to avoid being the new girl  :wink: . Thank you all a lot and oh! Don't forget to mention what animes you’re into. Peace!

I don't go to that school, but that won't stop me from talking to you! :P

I'm sure you'll find someone at that school with the same interests.

Yo, I'll be moving to Portland September 16th (one week after Kumoricon, gonna be one crazy week).  Just like CaptainJam said, send over a PM if ya wanna chat or meetup at Kumoricon.

Hi! i don't live anywhere near you, and i wont be going to your high school! I just wanted to point out that your avatar cracks me up, and i have the exact same one. XD infact, while i was picking an avvie today, i almost went with that one. glad i didn't.

I was gonna go to kumoricon....but the person I was gonna go with is going to be out of town during the con :(

You know, this is gonna sound sort of corny, but I'm really glad to hear you say that... ^^;; My family's been the only ones to say that to me, and when it comes from them it just seems like "Yeah, your moving... nothings gonna change it so you might as well be happy about it." Seriously though, my friends out here, including myself are all kind of sad about it... that's why it's so nice to hear positive notes. ^-^ Thanks...

Hey, hey welcome! I live about a 1.5 hour drive from portland *I wish I lived there instead of in the sticks...oh well i'll most likely live there in about 11 years lol* so I won't be going to your school, but we can talk like mad man on drugs...heh. =D

Yeah, Dante really wouldn't miss K-Con for anything. I have to listen to him blabber about it everytime I see him. :P I am likewise moving up there to go to the same College as him and I love meeting new people. Maybe we can all hang out sometime. How old are you, anyways?
