Okay, so I've only got 10% of my outfit done. Horible. I'm not a sewer so I'm having my grandma sew the top coat for me. I'm cosplaying as Kyo from Macabre and Aint Afraid To Die, not the PV. Since they are so similar it wont be hard. But I need some help. I'll show pictures as I go.

I need to cut my hair like this

How do I ask the hairstylist that? Does she need to layer it?
My hair is to my shoulders and I have bangs that go an inch past my eyes. And my hair is bright red, but I have the dye for my hair.

I also need to know how I would tell my grandma to make an alter to a womens jacket pattern. I'm still figuring that out.
First outfit:

If you notice the left side or right in the picture is shorter then the right side, left in picture. And in the back is longer with the split flaps. Did that make sence?

Secong one
older version but the same

This is the back of it. How do I get that flap in the back?

And his shirt. How do I alter a shirt? Add fabric? Or make it?

And if you notice, he has a double collar.

I really need help, please.

as for the hair, the hair stylist should aleady know what to do. But you may wanna add details if they have not done a hair style like that before. remeber though, Kyo's hair is REALLY REALLY choppy. and lotsa layers. lolx
as hor Kyo's shirt. I would just add the fabric. but make sure it is pretty thick. Or it won't get the same effect.
As for the coat, It is pretty much just a long black coat with some extra details. I may be wrong though...I was going to make this last year for my friend so I also had issues lolx

Make sure your hair stylist razor cuts it, ask them before hand if they do razor cuts. It wont have the same effect with out the razor.

As for the coat / shirt / etc. I can draw out the basic patterns out for you, if you want me to, and someone doesnt beat me to it.

Probably the newer version of his jacket. Do you think you can draw the shirt of the macabre one with the longer collar?
Can you draw everything that you are willing to do?

man id be carefull cutting your hair into that, asian hair is damn coarse and looks good all choppy like that. but i know my hair looks horrible razor cut. id be wary if you dont have thick coarse hair.

ah yes, be careful.
my friend wanted her hair done kinda like mine and the hair person said it couldnt be done cause our hair textures and stuff were so different.
but if it is to where it can't be done without looking strange they'll tell you. other wise. I think your okae'

That's okay. I am cosplaying Toshiya for Kumori but I will still need the drawings for Kyo. We bought the shirt and it had ALL the stuff already on it. It was like it was ment for me! I'm going to cosplay both Totchi and Kyo for sakura though. So the drawings will be helpful because I'm doing that one early since I need to wear a wig for kyo's because I have my hair cut exactly like Toshiya's.
