Is anyone interested in seeing this latest film by animator Richard Linklater?

I'd like to support the animation, but I am unsure if I will enjoy the subject matter. It got two thumbs up from Ebert and Roeper, and that's about all I know.

It opens this Friday.

I read a bit about it in Wired magazine, and it looked fairly interesting - Art wise- but I'm not sure what sort of plot it will really have, and so I'm not sure if it'd be a movie I'd want to see.

It pretty cool, plus I think I'll be able to get the humor in it.

I'll see it to gawk at the animation.

Hopefully the story will hold up, as I get this sneaky feeling that the filmmakers will try to rely too much on how cool the movie looks and won't dedicate the same amount of effort for the plot.

Roger Ebert raved about Robert Downey Jr.'s performance, so I'm hoping that means that it is character driven.

This should be good, I'm excited more because of the plotline than the animation but I think it will add the surrealness that the movie needs.

I got so fed up with my friend the tech geek when I gave him a link to the trailer. I said "The animation looks cool."
He says "Well, it wasn't animated."
I then yelled at him and ran off to have fun as he continued his explanaition of motion capture and film alteration. DULL!
