XD I think anything put to Rocky Horror music is funny.  I will be depressed if there is no Time Warp at the dance.  I must be able to embarass myself completely~!!! WOOO-HOoooooooooo.

It doesn't matter whether you win or squelch, but how you play the tuba.

I didn't read all the posts so someone might have mentioned this already but...

TIME WARRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPP~!

That song seems to amuse everyone...

This ones easy...I already own the CD.  Remember when the sound track begins to jump to the left and then take a step to the ri-i-i-ght.

I for one vote for The Time Warp as well! *Rocky Horror fanatic* But really any music works for me, though if possible I would love to hear some good jrock or jpop. Perhaps some Malice Mizer, Dir en Grey, Glay, L'arc~en~Ciel, Gackt, HYDE, Ayumi Hamasaki, BOA, Utada Hikari... err, I could list more, but that would be going a bit overboard I think. ^^
I'm the sort of person who writes out the imitation of a noise... buhdumbum... TSSSH! That was a drum roll.

music by the pillows (of FLCL fame) would be good, the best part of dances are the rock and roll breaks

The Pillows - Little Busters
The Pillows - Ride on Shooting Star

and some stuff by Porno Graffiti

Hell Yeah!

For starters im not a big fan of rap..(at all)
and it doesnt seem like a whole lotta people are exited about it either, so if you do throw some in its cool but just dont overdo it!..(at all) LoL

Okay, Techno seems to be the majority of anime songs and themes so i give that a thumbs up, i'd say the Blade techno remix..(Badass) its really good rave music!

what i'd suggest for a good slow song..(if there are any) would DEFINATLY be The aeris theme from FF7!!!   :D

if you do throw in some rap it might as well be Vanilla Ice!

 Oh, and P.S.

I just puchased super eurobeat vol. 143 online yesterday so you'll get your balalaika...if they send it to me.  Also Evangelion, Ghost in the shell stand alone, and sailor moon are on their way to my place...

keep up the suggestions and I'll be tracking down more music for the con.

Also other than artist it would help if you told me the songs you want to hear and what album they are off of.  I had a hell of a time tring to find a legitimate copy of "I want you balalaika".

keep the suggestions rolling.  Also I have a special place in my heart for alpha teams speed racer.  And the immortals mortal combat cd.

be able\willing to use professional CD players and not vinyl to mix with.

Why no vinyl?

Try finding anime soundtracks, ddr, and video game music on vinyl.
Next try to fill six hours of versitile music without spending more more than a years worth of pay.  Thus no vinyl.  Plus the pioneer CD players and mixer will rock.

Ooh, if you're using OC Remix make sure to play several Castlevania remixes. ^_^ The CV series has some of the best music ever and most of the remixes on OC are incredible!

So after much horror and humor in the dance thread .... heh yah sorry about that!   ........umm I think we are going to attempt to get those mentioned songs played. I mean what would a  Bratwurst Pudding Dance Hall Battle be without these great tunes!      Is it possible?!

Who knows....
