This chick Katie Blair makes these wigs that are to die for, and they're cheap, if you're in that "wig crunch" where you either don't have a wig or yours looks absolutely horrible, go here an order a wig.  They're privced great, and she has to be absolutely the best I have seen yet....

For those of you who aren't hard core and dye your own hair to match (like me ^.^; ), this site looks pretty decent.

Just... yeah, avoid the Kusanagi wig. ^.^;  That's the only thing I can say.  They have a pretty decent Gaara-chan wig though, if anyone needs one.

No good Chii wigs though. ;-;

yes, I was very disapointed at their lack of Chii wigs.... I am getting my wig from hger for my Character Freya, so expect me to have nice long golden locks ^.^ (awesome for me since I have short black hiar)

cool thanks considering my anime wig was going to be over 230 for the wig I wanted of my char I'm cosplaying as (LONG ASS blonde and curled hair)

Katie is good and such, but did you notice it takes forever to get a wig from her? She's booked from now to like 2005 because she's so good and popular with anime wigs.

They're SO helpful, if you send them a link of the character you're trying to do they'll send you back some links of wigs they think would work well. And they also have a section where you can specially order wigs styled or colored a certain way.

I should have a Chi wig up in the gallery fairly soon.  I actually did a pair of Chi/Freya wigs with the ears and all for two girls at Otakon, but since I finished the wigs AT the convention, I didn't get a chance to take pictures. >,<'

Katie's tutorials are amazing!  And she offers synthectic wig dyes!  She had to make them herself because they didn't exist.

With this information, as long as you can get extra hair in the same color, ANY wig can be put into ponytails.  After halloween when things are really on sale, one could buy three cheepy wigs and use the extra hair from the other two to make the wig usable for things you used to really need an expensive or custom wig for!

Oh, I already have that one marked hehe. It's such a pain to do that w/a wig, but I'm sure those instructions will help. I want to make a Robin (WHR) costume next year and I'll definitely need that.
