Anime Oasis in Boise, Idaho has just finished lastnight. We invited Vic Mignogna (The voice for Edward Elric from FMA, Dark from DNAngel, and Brolly from DBZ), Alistair Abell (The voice of Trunks from DBZ), and Michael Coleman (The voice of Stan from Hamtaro). They're wonderful people, and had a blast. They said that they love going to Cons, but will only go if they're invited. I think we should invite them to Kumoricon '06 or '07.

They're alot of fun, love their fans, and are wonderfully nice people. I think they should come. They'd be alot of fun.

I agree, Vic signed my macross hat, and all of them were very nice and took the time to talk with anyone who came up to them.

But he sings too!! He sung Billy Joel's Piano Man and did it better than Billy Joel!

I remember hearing we had some guests invited to KCon at the recent Eugene meeting. I can't remember who they are though. Something is going on with the page but only convention staff seems to be able to see it.

We should invite Sarah Vowell she is the voice of Violet in the The Incredibles. She is my age, and she is hot and smart and funny and did I say tiny and adorable. After her panel we could have tea and cookies and trade morbid stories (I worked in a morgue, she likes to tour cemeteries)

Bruce Campbell rules and he lives in Southner Oregon and his wife owns like the biggest Lavender farm in the Applegate valley.

You invite Bruce Campbell... You draw his cult fan base... Make of that what you want... But I can tell you it's true.

I'd have to agree though... Bruce Campbell would be sensational to have come. I know I'd like to meet him (and see if I can't get that Army of Darkness poster signed.)

It's a lot easier to get people from Toronto or Houston than from Japan, If we get a bit bigger and maybe some sponsors we might be able to get some Japanese seiyu. AO is really small and they managed to get those voice actors.

Continues to mumble something about his incurable addiction for Asuka Langley Sohryu from Evangelion and how Tiffany Grant is her voice actress. Stops mumbling after mentioning that his girlfriend is going to be cosplaying Asuka this year. -
