well it seems like the life of Kcon forums arnt as they use to be.

hehe i use to be able to live on the forums!

what do you think?

I could, but it would drain me. It is so hard to avoid flamers in some of the main stream anime forums, it wears me out.

Sometimes, I just don't got the time to get online either.

Altogether, I love forums more then IRC or Chatrooms. But sometimes, certain User classes rub me wrong.

Things usually quiet down this time of year.

The buzz from KCon has worn off most people by now and people are focused more on SakuraCon (so a lot of people hang out over on their forum) (so I'm told)

Things usually start to pick back up once SakuraCon goes by and people remember KCon. Though there are the occasional people such as yourselves who come back a little earlier.

she will be at sakura con 06 but i think im going to take kumoricon as a break from all my washington friends tho!

i think kumoricon will be my once a year get away from washington and all my friends here... but ther is the off chance that she tempts me with the hotell room..... but she isent 18 so.... hehe but when kumoricon swings around i will be 18 and im going to go alone with my own room and everything i hope... also im going to buy lots of hentai for my pervy friends at home to injoy from kumoricon... *i might preview them just to see what its like haha but that story is for another time*

I know the feeling of missing the life of the forums I enjoy the days when you can get on and have some good threads going but sadly it really does die down I remember last year I did not check the forums for a week at a time and then I finally stopped looking for a few mpnths... thouse were bad times

Even though tthe forums has calmed down alot I still love this forum I go to the sakuracon forum sometimes and well I just love this one more! anywho I think we just need to be checking the pages more and well just you know have random conversations! I really dont mind people talking about what has been happening in thier life so yeah If you wanna get into any conversation Pm me heh

I dont have the money or a way to attend Sakura Con so Kumoricon is main convention so I'm always here. ^^ But yeah, once KCon starts getting closer and even right after the convention where everyone is sad it ended there wil be alot of traffic here.

Sometimes I tend to get...well hooked onto the forums...then I live around it...so I don't get things done.

I try to balance it, but it doesn't seem to work...so when I'm ON, I'm there most of the time...when I'm OFF, I totally forget for a while... (like a few month! )

Most people are getting ready for Sakura around this time of year. And it's also really stressful for many people, (High School Seniors especially.) That's the thing about forums, many people are so focused on other things, that they don't really have time for anything else.

I don't live with my mom, where there is active net, and so, I can only get on when I come over.

I don't remember when I originally joined the forums, but I may have made a couple posts. Then I come back several months later and suddenly there's a new forum and I didn't keep my account ;_; I rejoined back in... October... I think. And until the this last week, I made about 5 posts total in that time.

I can't wait for the excitement of K-Con to start up again, to think that we are now only 6 months away from the best time of the year for me. As I and Bishi Catboy Ninja said within a day after the convention ended... "Welp, I can't wait for K-Con 2006." I'm already excited.

Yeah, very true!! I don't feel or really act like an otaku (nothing wrong w/it), but I think I'm labeled as one by my collegues (but they don't know the term "otaku"...so I think I'm just labeled as "crazy") ^_^;
