One of the shirts I wear to the gym is a Let Zeppelin T-shirt I bought in 1993, when I was a junior in high school!

Wow had to look back to see how old Jaybug was.  Well I don't feel so old now.  But then all us 25 and up people are starting to become a minority.

My understanding is that conventions have begun to skew towards a younger crowd in recent years, since the cable networks have begun airing mainstream shows targeted at younger audiences.  This made anime much more accessible to young people than it used to be.

I'm glad I grew up on Speed Racer. I don't have to admit I grew up on Pokemon! But you know, the horns in the opening song made me think it was British, not Japanese.

Well looking at all the anime that is airing in Japan I'm so green with envy.  Oh to have so much anime goodness would be great if it was over here as much as it is over there.

Yeah, well, hopefully this Funimation Network will pick up speed on our side. And then, on demand (for those with digital cable) has a bunch of anime (unfortunately you have to subscribe to, but yeah, it's there.) I need more too, though, heh. I hear ya.
