Finally was able to order my jacket and stuff. I just ordered everything off a cheap cosplay site.
My mom waited forever so I just got a prepaid debit card thing and now I'm doing the stuff myself.
So my costume should be here soon.

I'm just gonna bleach my hair since its already short. So, my ouran costume is now done. Yay.

I hope your cosplay gets here in time online cosplay stores have been known to take a long time to get the item to you unlike wigs. And Yay!
I already edited my shoes for renge/haruhi and I found some White opaque tights so those are taken care of. And I just bought a petticoat for under the dress last week since all the stores want $30-$40 for one. And it should be good quality since its used for wedding dresses. but that still leaves sewing the actual dress >.< I'm going to be cutting it really close to con this year...but then again I always do. the last 2 years I've finished the day before con.

And as for the photoshoot I'm just ganna throw out a time. Day 2? at 2? At the Gazebo?

The panel was cancelled due to multiple issues.
For one, we wanted a full hosting session, including some treats for our guests. However, Kumoricon has had problems in the passed with catering and will not be doing it again for these types of panels. The panel committee offered us to come up with another idea for the panel. But I turned it down because it didn't seem right. I would've liked to continue on with the panel, but sometimes you know when you should do things "next year".
If you wish to continue on with the panel, I suggest you offer them, maybe a game session? Where the attendees can enjoy the fun of commoners games led by the wonderful hosts. If you manage to get the panel in at such late notice, then I would love to still be a part of it. If you can come up with an idea, other than hosting or a ball(since there's already one being planned) then I suggest you enter in your panel request form as soon as possible.

I think it's probably best to wait till next year, do to the fact that we don't really have time to plan and practice. You can just have a random panel and not know anything about your doing we'd all really need to get together and come up with what were going to do.

Yeah, I emailed them and haven't ears back so don't expect anything. Just know a lot of ppl who were looking forward to the panel this yr, didn't want them to be disappointed.

I meant attendees, not hosts. There were a lot of people who didn't get into the panel due to the sheer length of lines.

I figured. And yeah I was in the lines and because i didn't have time to wait I had to leave before getting in because i had a photoshoot.

Received my costume, and though I went off the measurements... It still came too big.
Its nothing too drastic, but I will have to make the tie myself. That was an extra thing I was not expecting, however it won't damage my budget too badly.
I'm hoping the hotels are still open, I'm waiting to receive money from my friend so we can reserve our room.

Still hoping I can get some last minute funds, I'm doing some work for my family, I really hope I can get things done this year. I'm having to wait on many of my costumes now because of many things that crashed down earlier this year. I'm going to try and sell stuff this week at a garage sale, hope that helps.

I just got in my first real paycheck but half goes to my uncle so by the time con comes I may have about $600 for con. Tie wont be to hard just find a black tie some double stick fabric tape and purple ribbon i did that with mine.

Should we try for day 3 for the photoshoot? Early morning? There's not a bunch of shoots that day we've only got a few weeks so I want to make sure its scheduled.

Also I spent $111 at joanns yesterday got the fabric for the dress tho I'm not sure the patterns going to fit. But well see. And I learned how to set up and use the sewing machine all on my own! So proud.

Well maybe next year. ^^ I try to plan a different haruhi outfit every year. I'ts between Waiter Haruhi, Angel Haruhi, Middle school Haru, Tuxedo Haru or one of her finale outfits one or two

Goal: Do every single outfit Haruhi ever wore in the anime. ^^

I guess it really all depends on what my Kyoya prefers. ^^

So we know the photoshoot is on Day 2, and I'm pretty much okay with any times except 11am - 2pm. I have a pokemon shoot at 11 and a panel from 12:30 to 2pm. So how about 4pm?

That would work for me. times on day 3 that arn't taken are

7am - 1pm
2pm - 3pm
and
4pm - 6pm

I'd suggest early morning when there are still people there. so maybe 9am before cosplay chess? or 2? a half hour before the kumo fashion show?

I just got my tie and stuff, so my costume will be finished once I put it together.
I won't be there Friday, I'll maybe be there saturday, and I'll definitely be there sunday and monday.

There has been a huge issue with rides and dates so it has been quite a struggle to sort it out. Money was an even bigger issue but hopefully I'll get some extra cash by selling things on craigslist and what not.

Photoshoot is questionable for me. So I don't know what is happening.
