Its that time again. Time for that annual event I have done for the past three years. Its time to explore the area around the hotel so we have some ideas where to go for food, photo shoots, personal space and all that fun stuff. Most of all it is time to hang out and get that urge to cosplay out to help us hold out for the last three weeks before con.

So here are the details.
When: Saturday August 13th at noon.
Where: The park across from the Hilton (anyone have a name for it?)

Since the park is so big I imagine we will do a picnic type thing this year so it would be nice if everyone could bring some food.

I'll come with my sister we know that area well to and its close to main street which has alot of shops and food. The farmers market will also be running right next to Ester short park. I come i am debating on wither or not to cosplay as Ruka i have the costume its just mustering up the courage to walk in downtown vancouver with my costume on.

I wonder if I can just sleep under the I-5 bridge or something that night. Don't really want to bike up to Vancouver for this, bike home, bike back the next day for the Kumoricon meeting, and bike home again. Definitely gonna make it to this, but probably not in cosplay as I'll be biking and it will be hot. Gonna try to bring some foodstuffs too. Probably just gonna bake a few loaves of bread the day before or something.

my cosplay will be done by saterday and since it's namine (plain white dress) I won't look all that weird getting there (as long as I don't weir the wig)! oh and I will be bring one box of every kind of pokey! including almond,blueberry dark chocolate, and whatever else we can find!!!

I am very excited for this. I want to wear my costumes again and this will be the perfect opertunity. I plan on wearing Rikku but the claw will not quite be finished (I will still wear it, it just needs pain and then varnish over the top).

I had to get blood drawn at 2:00pm. Then I ate food (I had been fasting for the blood stuff). Went to check out peeps at the park, but ya'll was gone! Then, I had to get a new pair of shoes. And I had a meeting with some friends at 6PM.

It's nice seeing people and taking a look at the area...it was like crazy weird deja vu! I never realized how big that park was. Probably gonna spend a lot of time just chillin' there during the con.

She has the pictures set so only her friends on Facebook can see them. If you aren't a friend of hers you will get an error message. All you have to do is add her as a friend and you will be able to see it.
