Free Patterns online!!
« on: May 04, 2011, 09:43:16 pm »
Hey, guys, since I've been in a huge "I NEED TO BUY CLOTHES BUT I'M POOR" mode, I've been looking up free patterns online.

I came across this particular gem of a free corset pattern that looks LEGIT: http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/jacci-jayes-corset-pattern Watch the size, though. I'm not sure if its adjustable or not. You might have to sign up to download it, but burdastyle has a lot of free patterns. If you've got a junk email, maybe that would be a good idea?

This is a great site brimming with free patterns, too: http://www.freeneedle.com/index.php

Also, while there's a lot of baby patterns for mommies (looking at you, Jaz and someone else who's name I forgot!) for the non-mommies here, there's still some cool links on this site: http://www.u-createcrafts.com/

If I find some more good blogs and things, I'll post them. You guys do the same! Post the patterns and tutorials you think are cool. Cosplay or not!

These are for period clothing, but they could come in handy maybe?

Sweet. Those patterns can get really expensive.

My intention with this thread is to go beyond just cosplay, too.

Found a free tutorial on how to make your own zentia suit: http://www.stretchy.org/catsuits/
If I ever attempt Zero suit samus, I'm going to give that site a shot if I can't get Green Pepper's pattern. I believe I found his site before, and that guy, while a bit on the "ookay, you do that. You rock that, sir" side, he knows what he's doing. A fetishist, but not in a porny way. Just a man with a quirk. :)
