I know Cristina used a papercraft pattern but I think used a thicker paper and painted it the right color.
There's also a tutorial for Stripes that someone made that I have saved if you want to see it.

I used semi flexible plastic using a paper craft pattern. I cut it out and glued it then painted it. I only used plastic because I made it light up :B

Not yet. I didn't have a wig cap with me and I didn't want hair sticking out.

And I'm gonna work out before my prom so maybe I'll be able to put it all together soon and wear it without feeling too self conscious.

I have ridiculously thick hair and if I can get a wig on, anyone can.

Plus the only tiny wig I've ever gotten was a fashion wig and not a cosplay wig; cosplay wigs always fit me very nice and snug. And like I said I have crazy thick hair and a big head.

How early? I want to pick a good time so that people don't have to miss it to check out of the hotel room or anything, that happened to me last year at a shoot I planned.
