Hey everyone! My name is Emily ^^ ! I'm going to Kumoricon and it's my first convention that I'm staying at for more than 3 hours ^^ yay! I wanted to meet some people before I went. I'm thinking it might be a tad awkward if I don't know anybody, but i don't know ^^ So I'd like to meet some of you on the boards :D It is most wonderful to meet you all!!!

Yeah :D I'm going as Ray from Steamboy ^^ My first cosplay ever! Not my first time running around in a costume when it isn't Halloween though :P I'm also writing a Steamboy Fanfic for the newbie division of the contest :D Are you cosplaying? ^^

cool, a fanfic author. i cant write the stories, i jsut read my friend's fanfics as a judge ^_^ i'm cosplaying as youko kurama from yu yu hakusho ^.~ whats your anime?

oOo! Kurama has such neat hair o.o Are you going to have the rose and all? I was considering cosplaying as him... My anime? Do you mean the one I'm writing a fanfic on, or the one I'm cosplaying from? Both are Steamboy :P I've never seen it... but I'm going to watch it a bunch of times tomarrow. I wanted to challenge myself and I figured that writing a fanfic on an anime that I think few, if any, have written one on before, would be a good challenge. Especaily since it's my first fanfic. There aren't even any Steamboy fanfics on Fanfiction.net :P crazy

I've heard of big O. It is on adult swim, or used to be. right? ^^ I think I may have seen one episode if it was... not sure though :P

not totally sure yet. If my friend ends up going I'm going to ask for a ride, but he probably won't. Gah! I hope he does though... he was going to be the over-18 person with me >.< But if he can't come I'll probably end up taking the bus.

If your I belive between the ages og 13 and 17 you can have your parents make up a note that tyells Kumoricon that you are your own guardian. Thats what i'm doin.

Last year there was a Leon (Squall) going and he had a gunblade made out of wood. We got alot of wierd looks.

you are not going to not notice me at the Con I'm probably going to be the only Big O character there and I'm going to be in a suit.

Hah :P I have a feeling that I'll be the only Steamboy cosplayer. I'm making the costume tommarow o.o Well, starting it. Yeah ^^
And about checking out the trimet site... I just did :D I gotta catch the blue line to Gresham. awsome. Is it better to get there earlier than 8? for the lines?

Last year I went as Taichi from Digimon, and as his dub voiceover artist will be here, I'm positive I'll drag that out again.. otherwise, I'm gonna be there as Lain. Look for me in the Karaoke Contest, some Video Game tourneys, and quite possibly reading a fic in the Fanfiction Bedtime Stories, if I can a) write something and b) get over my awful shyness of my writing.

i loved steamboy, that was a great movie. <3 i'm definetly taking a picture of you >D

It's very wonderful to meet you oishii ^^ I'm not positive about the steamball yet :P Probably ^^ I may be making that today when I go over to my friends house to work on out cosplay costumes. It's going to be so fun I bet! hehe ^^

Hi there. This will be my first time at Kumoricon as well. But I've gone to Sakuracon three times now. I'm going to be going as my own version of Squall from FF VIII. I don't have a gunblade, but I'm going to be all gothed out with eyemakeup and such. I'm also going to have tight shiny vinyl pants with lotsa belts and a black fishnet, besides the jacket and the necklace. I have a walmart badge I made when I used to work there that says Yuki-chan on it as well. I plan on wearing so people can find me easier. ^_^

I watch mainly romance, drama, comedy and magical girl type anime. Even though I'm a guy, I don't really like a lot of guy anime. I like guys IN anime, if it's like shounen ai or yaoi though. ^_^

I like some anime more geared towards guys, as long as it has a good storyline and isn't chock full of 'super cool action scenes' and stuffs like that.
