i decided to stick with those contacts ^_^ and they last me a year so i won't have to worry about buying new ones for a while AND i can use them for my other cosplays too :3 thanks

@agpgirl: lol yea they were helping me find contacts :3

@steely: i think if your eyes are hazel brown that's fine

either color that you have then it's fine

you don't need contacts. BUT if you want to go for the "catgirl" look i would get yellow cat eyes :3 those would REALLY make you stand out

its more of a green/blue/gold hazel... and idk... contact lenses kinda freak me out a little.... which is kinda ironic cuz im thinking of getting contacts... but ill keep the lenses idea as a possibility.

yea the idea of having to touch my eyeball to get these thin sheets of plastic like things on top of my eyes, freaked me out too, especially since i'm VERY scared of having things go into my eyes. but after a few times practicing touching my eyeballs, and getting used to them on my eyes, i got used to it, and it wasn't that bad. i mean i was still a bit nervous when i put them on cuz i still don't like it when things touch my eyes, but i at least could keep them on and quickly get them off if i need too.

it takes some time to getting used to them

I'm personally in favor of the third one. That's the one I was thinking of making, back when I was planning on going to Sakuracon. The black on the outside makes the blue satin lining really pop and provides interesting contrast.

My sister and I are back to wigs again. This year, I need three. I'm seriously debating asking for one for my birthday.

i do warn you guys. ebay IS NOT cheaper

and sometimes you get REALLY bad quality ones. that's why i pick other websites :3 such as cosplayfu and cosplaymoon and such and they do free shipping too -w-

but if you can't do anything else other than ebay then do check the positive feedback on the people! the only things i buy on ebay are shoes, and props and accessories!

edit: and wigs of course -w-b i usually go to ebay for wigs cuz i got a few ppl on their i buy from ^_^

I just googled cosplay wigs until something affordable came up. They don't have the line that my sister and I purchased from anymore, but as far as wigs go, their remaining line is pretty . . . not too bad, price wise.

Ordering was pretty hassle free, and they shipped pretty quickly.
As far as quality goes, I don't know much about wigs, because I've only ever purchased one, but it held up really well, and I was able to comb it every night with no problem. The hairs didn't fall out, and they looked perfect every day.
I believe they're heat styleable, up to 420 degrees.

That's about all I can contribute. $:-\$

My sister and I just went to Wigland. I needed to find a Lizzie wig.
Five stars. Out of five. The guy was incredibly helpful. He googled the characters we were planning on cosplaying and helped us find the best wigs we could for them. And there was a cosplay discount. It wasn't huge, but even a couple dollars can make a big difference. Especially if you're like me and aren't old enough to get a job yet.

Anyway, even without the discount, the wigs were reasonably priced. I'm definitely willing to pay full price for them. And, of course, they were so pretty. I think I decided right that instant that I was going to get my wigs there.
Another nice thing is that it's local. And you don't have to pay for shipping.

That was long. Maybe I'll go find a wig help thread and post there too.
But I just thought I should mention it.
