I hear ya! There are so many cosplays I want to do but because of how pale I am I can't do them. Like Agni or Soma for instance. I've had a few of my friends try to convince me to be Turkey from Hetalia since I know quite a bit about the country and can speak Turkish. I'd do Soma in an instant, if not for the skin tone difference. And the fact that he's kinda half topless. And it's tricky to fake that kind of thing.

my costumes are pretty much recycled so theyre basically done. and he might be doing lego robotics or something else. we have several activites going on.

I could use a white skirt if I wanted to, but the black was very important to the lolita aspect. Plus, I can't use a pearl white petticoat with an off white skirt.

ah, im having issues with what the staff should be made out of. maybe a wooden doule with moulding that was spray painted silver...

If you trim it yourself, you'll be able to make it look the way you want to. It may be tricky, but you'll probably be more satisfied with the end result.

Unfortunately we don't discuss King Arthur :/. We mainly focus on Irish and Welsh mythology (though King Arthur was originally a Welsh tale that the English stole.) So we read the Tain and the Mabinogion and other such stuff. Nothing King Arthur related though :/

you arent alone. and i actually bought a couple books on norse, celtic, and i think another mythology. did you know that the celts were seperated into 3 groups? i cant remember the groups right now. but i think that is super cool! oh! and if you ever see the Morrigan, run away! and leprechauns are not little short people with orange hair. they kinda look like golum from lord of the rings. they still like shiny things though. robin hood was like my idol when i was about 12-13. i think that whole culture was so fascinating. i really wanna go to the UK (so freakin' bad). just so i can say i went to ireland and saw everything 9well, and to hear the accent)

I love Norse mythology so much <3. I like Celtic mythology too, but Norse mythology is just really cool (and makes a bit more sense XD.) Oh yeah I did know! I forgot what the groups were called though. It's interesting, because in Irish mythology the Morrigan is really just a lowely diety goddess who shape shifts and foresees the end of the world. There is also talk of a Queen of the fairies named, Mab. But in Irish mythology her name is Medb and she was a fertility/war goddess. I want to go to! My family is trying to save up money to go to England and Scotland this summer >.<

ok, windsor castle might be overrated but it is so worth seeing. and i was actually inside of fleet street! Yeah. the morrigan is also known as the washerwoman. she supposedly washes your bloody clothes before you die. and Loki makes me laugh. I did a research project on Celtic mythical creatures. I really wanna go to the stonehenge. Along with Blarney Castle, the cliffs of moher... i just wanna go to ireland and never come back. thats what i daydream about when i get upset.
