Ooh, my friends and I were playing Honey if You Love Me in the car (we played it in rehearsal too) and no one could keep a straight face.
I wonder if the Undertaker would like that game. I could totally imagine his to DIE for voice saying "Honey, if you love me . . . ."

So the 13th Door was incredible, and I strongly recommend it. It scared the absolute crap outta me. I mean, I alternated between screaming at the top of my lungs, and shouting/stifling profanities.

I'd definitely go again, though. It was amazing.

I'm so not going to be in character that well as William...He's just too...blah...
Which is why I'm only being him for the photoshoot.

Though, I've been told I should make William an official cosplay, meaning making him more than just a one-shot cosplay. Which I might do, since there really aren't any and I can pull him off easily ^^

If I have time/money, I might actually try to make his spear thing...If not this year, I'll end up making it eventually!

In rehearsal, when we played it, I got to a point where I just buried my face in my hands and completely cracked up. It was great.

But we don't want our Undertaker to die. Who will we go to then?

It would be fun to torment Grells, though. Especially if the Grell plays along.

Even just seeing William at a photoshoot, though, would be awesome.

It sounds really scary (which is what i look for in haunted houses), but im an absolute chicken XD I wanna go there, or scream at the beach.

I wasn't expecting it to be that bad, since it's a haunted house, and as jumpy as I am, the Field of Screams didn't scare me nearly as much as I thought it would, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was incredible. My heart was racing before I was even waiting in line.
I wonder what Scream at the Beach would be like.

I love Grell's character design too much to resist. He has lovely earring, glasses and I just think I could pull him off really well.
Thus I'm doing Grell.

nekovamp: I know what you mean. That's why I always look for alternate versions, as you can see for my signature of next years cosplays, I'm doing alternative versions to make up for the fact that there's going to be a lot of us. Ha.

Depends on what there is a lot of.
At Sakura-con the Hetalia photoshoot was really well organized and everything worked out. I was one of 2 Englands so I ended up in a lot of photos even though I didn't want to be. It was inconvenient.

Sets can be really awkward, too. If I were Grell from kuroshitsuji and my Madame Red was late to the shoot (my Madame Red is my lovely girlfriend) and if I were the only Grell with a bunch of Madame Reds, then I would feel hella awkward posing with them.
Same if Shay was the only Nia with a bunch of Simons, I would want my lovely Nia to myself.

However: It's nice to be the best at a con. If you know there are going to be a lot of the same character, work hard to make yours stand out and be special. Put in some extra work on the details, and people will notice you for it.

I do always try to add that extra touch that makes the cosplay nicer. This year, I opted for slightly more expensive fabric. Of course, I definitely wasn't the only one who chose that material, but still . . . .

Note: Stretch velvet expands. I don't mean it stretches. It really does expand. I can't hang it up in my closet. I have to keep it folded. It took forever to pin up the hem a few inches. Mainly, though, because we had to keep pinning up a few more . . . and a few more . . . .

The pattern sale cycle at JoAnns is continuing as usual. I'm waiting for . . . I'm not really sure which brand I'm waiting for anymore. But as soon as that sale comes, hello vest pattern.

I've spent the day getting shots (I don't mind shots themselves, but I'm not very fond of needles), reading The Hunger Games (I am officially glued to that book) and cleaning my closet. I should have also spent the day finishing Animal Farm (short, but not especially interesting, in my opinion) and doing some more Japanese. It's not too late.
There's my lame update.

As far as Undertakers go, I'd love to see a battle of the laughs.

I went Halloween shopping last weekend and saw this dress almost IDENTICAL so Lizzie's!!! Only, it was missing a few things, but hardly noticeable!!
$50 though... but it's better than the $130 i found on eBay X3

That would definitely make a cool Lizzie!

I've been practicing my Lizzie voice for the ball.
And crying on command for Alois. Plus, his line that ends with "those eyes that longed only for me, Claude" and his more axe crazy moments.

And, of course, for my other cosplay goal, I need to just kinda practice roaring while I'm talking.

I like the dress. It would make you stand out more b/c of the differentness (totally a word >>) and the brightness of the color. And Lizzie should totally have a sword XD

I love getting into character. And crying on command gets easier and easier. As far as Lizzie's voice goes, as long as my voice is at it's height and I drink enough tea (basically don't lose it or let it get scratchy) I'll be able to get all perky.

If I get, heaven forbid, the con cold, though, I won't be able to.

I mean, of course I won't get the con cold!!

Differentness is totally a word. I'm adding it to my spellcheck's dictionary.

I'm also adding "spellcheck's" to my spellcheck's dictionary, for that matter.

Lizzie with a sword would be scary. Pretty awesome, though.

Still no sale. I suppose I'd have to wait until Sunday to know if the brand I want is next anyway, though. $:-\$

Haha, you've NEVER met Kita (xLollicon) before~ If you know her as good as i do, you'll see that she is PERFECT for her. Not just height, her voice is SOOO close, she can just talk normally and she'll sound like her XD and i think their personalities are pretty close too, 'cept Kita is more 'gangster' LOL
