I am worried about one thing though. mostly because i know it will happen

i know for a fact that certain people wont want to do certain things with other people, so how do we keep people from feeling offended? like, say, one person always gives the option of kiss or peck as well as hug, but nobody ever does anything other than hug? i think that that person would end up feeling worthless and unattractive. i'm mostly worried about me being shunned..... i'm such a whiny bitch

I wa thinking we should have three groups. One group could be for people who only want to hug (we can have every age group in that one). And two more groups for people who want to hug and/or kiss (seperated by age groups).

They did that last year with a little Ritsuka cosplayer because these two people had gotten stranded and he was charging a dollar for a hug and giving them all the money he made.

I say He cause I didn't pay enough attention to the gender.
I just made Kristi give him a dollar so I could give him a hug.

I was in a miniskirt! So the only place to hold my stuff was in my bra. ; 3;
The next day I bought a Ryo-Ohki backpack and carried my stuff in there instead. He's coming with me this year to be my bag as well~<3

You are very beautiful, not old at all, and certainly not fat!
I'm not sure why people keep thinking of me as cute, because I look average, and their are tons of much prettier girls on these forums, including you.
It's really quite troublesome that I'm the one making people feel ugly lately.
I certainly never had that intention, but it's all I seem to be able to do.
Just please don't say things like that anymore, because you are very pretty, and I hope you'll still want to be my friend even though I can't seem to make anyone feel happy.

I guess I just don't really feel good about how I look so I always jokingly make fun of myself.
Everyone tells me I'm pretty but I don't see it.
I have scars all over my body from my childhood. I have a fang mark on my face from a dog bite, a mark on my lip from where another dog ripped off my top lip, and a scar on my forehead from smashing my skull open.
I just don't really feel pretty and people only ever tell me I'm pretty when I have loads of makeup on for a pageant or when my mom dolls me up for school dances. So I feel like I have to cover myself up to be attractive.
And I actually am not very fit. Every woman in my family is obese and I'm the only one who isn't overweight but I'm not skinny either.
I can't wear a two-piece or anything because I feel too out of shape to be able to wear something like that.
I just overall don't feel good about myself.
And it's not your fault but I look at girls like you and Pot and I wish I could look like you do. You may not see it but you're adorable and people pretty much fawn over you because of how you look. I don't want to be praised but I just want to be in better shape and feel better about how I look.

I'm actually very aware about how I look but I know how to hide my imperfections with angles and lighting. I was taught how to stand to look skinnier and how to hold myself to appear taller but all in all it only lasts until someone sees me for me.

Sorry...I just kind of had to get that out.

^This. I feel almost exactly the same. I'm a teenage girl, so, of course, to some point I obsess over my appearance. I used to be so confident and not care when I was a kid, but now as my metabolism sets in (at age sixteen, derp-a-derp ;o; ), I feel myself wanting to be skinny like the vast majority of my friends. I wouldn't say I'm jealous, but I just look up to them, even though I know it's mostly genetics since over half of them aren't fans of exercise. I've been working to keep in shape, but I still will never be as great-looking (or great-feeling like when I was younger) as I wish I could be.

ANYWAY~ Rant over. Now, after getting that off my chest, I'm ready to strut the confidence I -do- have in the circles and be open to everything, just for some fun~ : D

Either that or it's their metabolism, or they're like me and just don't eat half the time. xDDD

I've always been self conscious about my appearance and still don't believe I'm very pretty or attractive since all the guys I hang out with constantly talk about what DOES make a girl look good and I don't fit the bill. Plus I never use makeup or girly clothes so there's that. I dunno, like any other teenager I don't feel pretty. =D And like everyone else I can/have to deal.

My mothers side is filled mostly with tall-ish, skinny people. My dad's side is filled mostly with short, chubby (in some cases more than that) people. When I was little, I looked like a tiny blonde version of my mother, which everyone commented on daily. Then I hit the age of 14 and started looking more and more like my dad's side. Which is sad, because I don't think I have worse eating habits or move around less that I did when I was little. No one says I look like mom anymore.

@Siren: I know the feeling. Even though I was adopted, when I was little I looked exactly how my (adopted) mother looked- somewhat skinny with matching brown hair and brown eyes. By age thirteen I began to look like my (adopted) father- more filled out and features not looking quite as "cute" as they used to. (I'm also short, so I look more like my (biological) grandmother- super short, and my (biological) grandfather- thicker, but not "fat", so to speak.) Genetics (and even nurturing d: ) can be a pain, sometime.

I have never looked like my biological father but my brother looks and acts exactly like him which scares both me and my mom.
But still...I hate looking like my mother used to because that means my future gives me a very good chance of looking like her. [/depression]

Actually, there was something in Women's Health (I believe) not too long ago about how a girl might look like a younger version of her mother, but as she ages her own, specific genes kick in and it means it isn't determined she'll look like her mother. I forget the exact science around it, but it was something like that. So, there's definitely hope thanks to modern research~ :3

No, just no. Not eating is a bad thing, don't aspire to become skinny that way. I know from experience...even if it wasn't intentional. I've never thought I was fat so yeah.
