I'm going to talk to the people in charge of CC about whether or not you can drop in to prove you're there and come back again later. Every time I've gone to a "premeet" it's been basically to show that you care enough to show up...then you stand around for an hour doing pretty much nothing aside from listening to people test stuff and figure out where they stand. I really wanted to do it though so I'm going to try to do this and that...plus after talking to Haley today I had some pretty fun attack ideas...shishishi.

sk_chan, you need to do itttt. It's fun and if we're on opposite teams we can totally harass each other. XD

On another note, on an epic adventure of fun with Haley today I got all the stuff I need to make my fake crowbar, more fabric for a second scarf, and almost got some sexeh body spray just to attract DA LADIEESSS. ;;Kidding yet not.;;

Sounds like you'll be done with your cosplays really soon! :] And I totally want to see cosplay chess. The first time I saw it was at my first con, and I haven't seen it since. ): If you Drrr peeps are in it, I'll totally go see it!

Eeeeeee Haley you look so cool~

I can't wait to get my blazer, but I'm worried about it being too long in the torso and sleeves :/ Oh well, we'll deal. I also still need to get my fancy bust-enhancing bra. I was going to get that crazy $50 one from VS, but it's out of my price range right now. I'll try to get it for Sakuracon, but for now I'm going to get a padded push-up from Target or something.
Tbh, a lot of what most people remember of Anri is her boobs, so I need to do those well.

Ugh, I know. My wigs have yet to arrive for all but one of my cosplays this year. And it's starting to look like I won't be getting my Anri costume, so I might have to settle for her black outfit as backup... -crossing finger they all get here in time-

Haha the black outfit was actually going to be my backup too- I have all the pieces of it. I was worried my blazer wasn't going to get here on time, but my dad told me it's on it's way in the mail, so I'm not too worried anymore.
My Meiko wig, however, ended up being a disaster.

Well I ordered it around three weeks ago, and we had to email them three times before they would ship the thing. This was about a week ago. They still won't ship it, so we're just canceling the order and buying a wig at Wig Land instead. A short brown wig isn't exactly difficult to find.

Oh buying it and receiving it would be even worse. It was Arda Wigs, actually, and I had heard from boogiepop/Nikki that they're not good at getting stuff shipped, but I underestimated them. It sucks because I love their wigs, but their customer service is so bad ;~; I'll stick to buying in person.
At least it's not a fancy wig in a weird color, god it'd be bad.

Yeah, that sounds like a mixed basket for sure. You're lucky if you get one since they're good but if you want one you better order months in advance I suppose. xD I've never bought in person, almost did in Ashland but that's about it. Wig Land sounds cool, I've seen it around online and heard about it, but I've never been there before.

I thought it was a tad too open ended. To be fair, the ending wasn't bad, but some parts were lacking in my opinion, haha. (Since...I totally don't like Saki. Why Kidaaa? Bros before hos, dude!) Been so busy lately, I've been neglecting the forums baaww ;3; As for progress, I'm still working on sanding my helmet. It's been so hot out lately that I don't feel like getting off my butt to work on it =3=. Thankfully, it's cooled down a bit so I might get it finished this weekend.

I agree, I don't like Saki either and I was pissed about how Kida left but that was the only part that didn't please me. The rest came togeterh pretty well. I just find it weird that he still wanted to be with Saki after all the lying and stuff she did for Izaya. =/ Oh Kida...

Well I finished my modeling for my crowbar, for the record I did a bit more after this picture was taken, but here's generally what I made! I know it's suckish but don't judge me. ;~;'' It was my first time ever doing this.

And I came to realize that for bloody kida I need a plain white hoodie, like what Haley has, and there's no way I'm going to find one of those in stores. D8; Anyone have a suggestion for someone I could commision OR any wise choice of action?

And for my sweatshirt, I just used jersey fabric from Joanns, and a big sweatshirt from my closet for a pattern sort of thing, except it wasn't all the way correct, so I kind of messed around with it untill i got the fit right.

also, if you got one from joanns, it wouldbe pretty easy to take the pocket off. And as long as there isn't a zipper, it should work fine.

IAWTC. I use seam rippers SO MUCH in my cosplay adventures...yet sometimes rip the piece of clothing by mistake, and there's not much you can do about that unless you sew it, and even then it makes it look uneven. =\
