I got my second Kida ear cuff today!~ Huzzah!!!! Now all I need to do is cut the fabric I got for his scarf, which hopefully is enough to make two if not back to Jo-Ann's, and wait for the wig to come in the mail. Life is good! 8D

Sorry for the double post, I just wanted to make sure you guys saw this since if I just edited you might not. I need to ask a question! I just realized for the Bloody!Kida cosplay I'm going to need a crowbar, since he used one, and I KNOW that real metal crowbars aren't allowed at the con. Any suggestions on how I can make one/find one con-appropriate?

Hm... I wish Haley was home, she's good at props. That's a good question. Maybe you could carve it out of foam and cover it with clay? I've seen that method work, but never things as big as a crowbar :/

Hmmm maybe, I've never carved foam though and I'm not sure how I'd bend it to ge the right shape. Then again I'm probably only saying that because I have no idea what I'm doing, for all I know that's really easy to do. Though if Haley is good at props I can check with her at some point and see what she says too. Thanks for the idea! I'll consider doing that. =O

Also, I dunno if you check your PMs, but I was asking about when I should get the fake blood from you. Any good times?

Already posted in the cosplay progress thread, but today Haley and I went shopping and I ended up getting a pair of Anri glasses:

Thoughts? They aren't perfectly round, but I think they'll do.

They're powered reading glasses, but I kept the glass in. They're the lowest power I could find, and for the most part, don't affect my vision after about 30 seconds of wearing them. I'm just not going to wear them when not hanging out in the main con area, and I'm going to take painkillers to make sure they don't give me a headache.
If you want to get a similar pair, check out Dollar Tree, that's where I got mine. They didn't have rounded glasses in the past (that I know of) but I saw them today and just happened to have an extra dollar.

Actually it's funny, I think I might actually read better when wearing these lolololol. That or my eyes just get messed up right after I take them off.

Anyways, I've broken the glass out of reading glasses before and I suggest taking a nail and hammer and just hitting the sharp end of the nail into the glass. They should just pop right out. But be careful, my dad did this for me once and he accidentally broke the frame >: That was before I hot glue gun so I just dealt with it, but I'm sure a little dab of glue would fix it.
And I'm glad you like them! I also ordered my blazer today, I'm so relieved that I'll probably finish Anri before the con. We'll bro out and be harassed by the many Kidas, okay? XD

Oh god, I know, my friend is a terribly accurate Kida, I'm so not ready for her crappy pick-up lines and jokes. xD; And we can definitely be bros, lol! Oh, and as far as this thread goes, we don't have a Mikado, do we? xD -totally ships KidaxAnri anyways...-

Baw I like MikadoxAnri, but I always go for the canon couples. Kida and Anri are hilarious for pictures lolol.

Actually the only time I liked a pairing outside of canon was when I saw this pic on tumblr:

asdfghjkl;;; The shoot is during Cosplay Chess' premeet, and the game is most likely during another shoot I'll be doing...I have a feeling I won't be doing CC this year. I think I may focus more on photoshoots. The thing is, I usually enter because it's so much fun...
