I think its fantastic. because if anyone actually acted like Abel, I would be forced to punch them. This way, the only injuries that occur is Yagi and I beating the crap out of each other, and then her ordering me to go get food. Its perfect. I get to smirk, she gets to give Abel a backbone.

I'm too tired to do anything but share this piece of lol with you guys. Today I was hanging out with my friends Chloe, Ernest, Erik, David, and a new friend I'd never met before today named Anthony. So immediately getting to Ernest/Erik/Anthony's place (they're sharing because they're such cute college kids) Ernest is like "HEY GUESS WHAT WE WERE JUST WATCHING" and I of course fangirl because they had Sozin's Comet: Part 1 up and ready to go and we ended up watching all four parts back-to-back because we're all so nerd for this show. Then we got into the conversation of what type of bender we would be if we could choose, and Anthony tried to tell us how earthbending was totally the best choice. And we were all like no, no Anthony, earthbending has no practical application outside of warfare and building yourself a house made of rock. So we spent the rest of the day pointing out every single time we were in a situation where any type of bending other than earthbending was applicable. We tried to focus on air and fire since he was all for earth and water. It was hysterical. And my friend David, who has never seen the show before and knows like nothing about it, was with us while we were getting dinner and STILL arguing about elements, and he says, "Guys! What if there was an everything bender?" And we all just turn to look at him and I say, "So, like... The Avatar?" And he looked confused for a moment and then remembered what the role of the Avatar was and was like, "... Oh yeah..."

tl;dr IT WAS REALLY FUNNY AND I WAS THINKING OF YOU GUYS THE WHOLE DAY and now I'm going to go pass out

Okay so I'm a moron and forgot to say the thing that I got online to say which is: I'm using the white polyester that I got from Naru for Connie and I bought black twill for Rin, so I have all my fabric. I also bought two packs of bias tape, because WHY GO SO FAST, BIAS TAPE? I also bought like four new patterns today. I like the McCall's ones 'cause they are so straightforward. Burda patterns make me kind of ill. They are for advanced sewers, which I am not. But I am still making my Rin jacket out of that pattern, because apparently it's REALLY HARD to make a men's jacket that buttons straight to the top.Now I need to wash all my fabric, because I'm 90% sure the black twill is gonna do something wonky and it's kinda dirty anyway.

OH ALSO. JOANN'S SALE RIGHT NOW. 50% OFF MOST EVERYTHING. RUNS TILL OCTOBER 23RD. THREAD IS BUY ONE GET ONE.

Oh lord, our hotel rooms are always packed at con. Not so much at Sakuracon, I think there's only about five people.But during K-con we usually have about 10-12 people sharing two rooms. Yeah...
Then there's this one jerk/creep that comes to every con that eats all of our food and dirties all our beds and makes the women uncomfortable. I wish we could kick him out XD;;
