And the actual event listing is quite lacking -- "hey, let's do something eventually."

It's always a wise idea to have concrete plans and ideas before offering them. No one can commit to an unknown schedule, especially if they don't know what they'll be doing.

I'm up for meeting up sometime, I just need to know when and where.
Preferably, at least not for a couple weeks... It's a big too hectic around my house right now for me to make any plans. Though I can always skip this one if others would rather meet up sooner.

But before we set a time, perhaps we should find a place? City? Location? (Portland and the nearby cities are the best options for me. Eugene and such are a bit too far right now, unless I have some major advanced notice.)

as was said in the original post, we would probably be in portland.

most likely meeting up and pioneer square.

I'm guessing we could probably do it within the next week or two, if that is cool with everyone else?

I have the 19th and 20th off, so any time those days is good. (but if after 3:00 I will have my son, and if before I will need to be home before 3 unless I could talk my dad into picking him up and watching him a bit.) Busy the 23th and 24th. The other days the latest I work is 5pm. Maybe we could do an evening event, like one at 6 or 7 ish... Hm.. where?.. in portland is what is posted. There is... starbucks.. other cafe's I don't know of since I live in beaverton and almost never go to portland. ^^;... un... movies... um... a park... .. book store, like powells maybe...
