Tri-Met and Max
« on: June 04, 2005, 02:40:39 pm »
Can anyone be so nice as to post which stops on the MAX and TRI-MET (And which bus) would be the best for getting to this location?

I'm guessing the same Max stop as LLoyd center mall, but i'm not sure...

Where is the Con in comparison to Lloyd Center? Across the street?

Thanks

QEvil, that picture is most awesome.  *laughs*

Personally speaking though, before I got a car when I rode the MAX out to that area I would prefer to get off at the NE 7th Ave. stop (Accessed by both Red and Blue lines, of course.).  Why?  It's really just as close to the hotel/mall as the Lloyd Center stop (Just on the other side of the Doubletree., but instead of forcing your way through a big crowd of gutterpunks and other commuters you simply have a nice easy stroll through a parking lot.  ^_^  Just a thought, that's all.

The con will be taking place at the Double Tree Hotel, the blue square.

I made this to reassure all my friends parents that we can ride the max without incident and hold hands while crossing the street, and it's semi-relevant and it took me a long time to make it (sadly) so here:

^_^ I had to employ the help of my friend in making it a .gif since I don't have the software. It was funny I was talking like a movie director "On the first frame make it pause over the max sign, and then on the last one make it long enough so even an idiot could read it." "So long enough that I can read the whole thing?" "Pretty much, yeah."
