If not Pioneer Square.. where would it be? I'm not entirely familiar with the area so I wouldnt know where to search. Should we like meet at an easy spot then travel over so us unexperiencees know where to go xD

I don't know the area that well either, but you can see where it is just by watching the video -_-
I dont see why everyone wants to go to PCS, it's crowded, there's no shade, no grass, no trees...

the other park that I was mentioning is the SAME DISTANCE but in the opposite direction. WATCH THE VIDEO.

If you STILL cant figure that out the only solution I have is meet in the corner of the lobby [where we are out of the way] and venture to the park =/

I think the death note craze might actually be dying down... I mea look at our tiny little list of cosplayers!!
I mean, there's always going to be other people who don't post on the forums....but I doubt it'll be significant

Gosh we can only hope.. It was getting ridiculous. And very few of those cosplays were NOT half-assed. *facepalm*

I noticed that the DN shoot's time is at noon. Honestly I think this is a bad idea with the notorious reg lines. You're lucky if you get INTO the con by noon.

huh? well I pre-registered this year, and last year when I didn't pre-register I got in line at like 5 am and got inside around 8:30 to 9 ish (when the con opened)

sooooo the only people who can't make it to the shoot are people who don't plan ahead, get their late, and decide to stand in line to get a badge EVEN THOUGH they only need their badge for panels, dances, and other con run events. They don't need badges for a photoshoot =/
so I guess IMO it doesn't really affect it at all, we're probably going to have a lot of people anyways
BUT if it makes you feel better I could go to the photoshoot thread and change it to 1

KEEP IN MIND the schedule isn't posted yet. for all we know there's a death note related panel at that same time lol so maybe we should wait to make changes until after it's posted

With all due respect not all of us get in line at 5am.

I just know from past experience, since I usually do schedule the DN shoot time, that usually between 1 and 3 works well. That way it's not too early and not too late. But since its already been put down as noon, it might create even more chaos if it was changed.

eh, nothings finalized yet.
I asked the people in this thread when to have a photoshoot and no one really answered, so I put down noon since it SEEMED like a neutral time.
I'm sure it would be fine if we delayed it an hour.

i have decided for sure that I'll be Misa at least for the photoshoot, either that or just cut my cosplays in half that day and just switch midday XD we'll see...but i'll be there for sure :3 <3 I can't wait!! I still have to do some last minute adjustments and whatnot on my Allen cosplay, but other than that, i'm SUPER psyched for K con!

oh hey, i have a question. The schedules came out recenetally and it doesnt list fountain park in the description of spaces... whats the general area that it would be in, if anyone can see it? I'm sorry for keeping on asking, but i tend to get lost really easily... and is it at 1 or 12?

If you look at the pocket guide it has a map in regards to where the park is.

It says Fountain Plaza, and is between numbers 36 and 37.
