~I know there are already some other meet-ups goings on on Day 0, but I thought I'd throw this out there anyways~

My father works as a photographer for News Channel 8 and will be working their half-hour nightly show, Live @ 7 on the Square (Pioneer Court House Square which is two blocks north of the convention hotel). He suggested that my friend and I come down and watch him do his work since we have little planned. I was wondering if there were any cosplayers who would be interested in coming? You could just wander around the square until you find the small building. Maybe even bring signs like they do on the Today Show? xD If we could get a big enough group, who knows- we might end up on TV~ ;3

Who: All cosplayers who have some free time in the evening
What: KGW's Live @ 7 on the Square - in person, in cosplay
When: Day 0 (Friday) at 7, but I would suggest getting there ten minutes earlier or so
Where: Pioneer Court House Square- two blocks north of the convention hotel
Why: To see how the news business runs and maybe get a spot on TV in the background~

The only thing I'd be worried about, is feeling horribly embarrassed by some of the anime fans that attend the convention. If they get on television and act crazy, then it gives the rest of us a bad name. =/

True. I highly doubt anyone will actually show up to this, as it is. My friend and I didn't plan to go in cosplay, but some other cosplayers wandering around the Square might draw some attention. And the chance to actually be on television is VERY slim with everything else they have these days going on.

Ahh, well let's hope that if they do somehow manage to get on TV, that they'll calm down, or won't be as crazy.

I'll see if I can go, but I'm also going to the Voodoo donuts meet that's at 6. Maybe I can convince the group to head that way with their donuts? :D

Yes! Chri (Memoryless) and I will not be cosplaying as it is. (My father is a safety freak about the weird people who come to the Square.)

Yeah, I saw that but I wasn't sure if you were asking just for cosplayers to join you. So I asked. :3 Yay for spirit!~ Don't worry, my mom is the same way about safety but she doesn't mind the convention space.

Also not in costume on Friday, and given that I'm bringing stuff from home to the con site and I'm bringing it on the MAX, I won't be able to carry a sign unless I make one while I'm at the site.

And I went back to wait for MAX (not really XD) and the white guy came back...

While Man of the Public and I were standing in front of the studio, the newscaster (the good-looking guy with dark slicked-back hair; I forget his name) apparently wasn't on camera, because he turned and looked at us, and waved! We waved back :D

So awesome, I watched KGW every morning before school, and he's like a celebrity XD
