I'm not on the forum as much as I used to be but the panel is in my name.
Who wants to help run the panel?

Who wants to bring cupcakes?
Priozes? Gifts?

I will probably be able to make something to give as a silly prize.
Who else is going to be there?

Kahlan loves it, that's her dream, really. She just loves making people happy with her baked treats, heh. So I'm sure she'd be down for this, but I will be sure to ask first.

You guys have to put in extra effort if you are going to, um, share with people who happen to be at the same panel.
(The con isn't providing anything, we agreed that we wouldn't so the hotel won't get mad)

Anyway you guys gotta try hard because our other cupcake makers probably won't be there!

So, just for clarification, is it alright to make things and share them with others inside the hotel? (In other words, it is okay for attendees to provide goodies, but not the con itself?)

And I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what Kahlan can turn out. She's usually the Uwajimaya cupcake maker. Done that a few times now for their Culture Festivals, heh

Officially, the con cannot provide food that does not come from the hotel itself. That is why there are no food panels, and when there are there is a fee (to help cover the hotel's service charge

)

So, officially, food is not provided in the panels. But if you bring something in for yourself, and you have a little extra to share...

I hopes i can make it i pretty active on forums but somthing always seems to come during con for this, tho luckly my hubby doesnt have an entry in the amv contest this year to root for,

So as far as baked goodies go, Kahlan is still deciding between cupcakes and cookies. (Not to piggyback on your idea, Jaz. You both can make cookies since they certainly won't be the same kinds.) Cupcakes or cookies, they'll still be fun and delicious!

Yeah, I think the reason she was leaning towards cookies instead is because they are easier to keep fresh, in case the Forum Panel is not on the first day. Cupcakes just require more care and packing, so cookies may be what she ends up making. But don't worry, her cookies are muy delicioso, totemo oisii, and super good, heh
